"Avoid this place unless you're on your bottom dollar. Room floors were filthy and sticky (not mopped in weeks). Dead, dried, squashed bugs in the shower walls (Not to mention yellow, caked stains of who knows what as well). Spider webs in room, patio door would not lock, forcing you to leave your room open to the rest of the shared patio guests. Tattered towels, dirty pots and pans. "Very unique hotel with only 5 rooms, each with their own character. We had the Giuseppe Room and it was huge. Bed super comfortable, lots of room towels and towels for the beach. Honour bar in a beautiful loung was a great touch for us as we enjoyed sitting out on the large balcony in the rocking chairs as we watched the neighbourhood and the ocean view. Breakfast (included) was served at the top of the hotel with an exceptional view of the ocean and city. It was gourmet every day, from fish...

"Tropical private paradise. Beautiful rustic bungalow right on aqua waters. We came on off season and felt like we had the island to ourselves. There are kayaks to use as well. If you want more restaurants and life come in the main dry season. There is coral snorkeling nearby and an amazing indigenous guide and chef named Calypso who showed us all the local animals, sloths, monkeys, frogs, caiman and plant medicines.
