"Great location for our family ski trip. The hotel has an agreement with a lovely ski hire shop which is fabulous as we could leave our ski's and boots there every day, it made such a difference to our trip. We used the pool daily, it was lovely after a day on the slopes. You have to book one hour slots for the pool which works well as it is never too busy."

A great surprise for us was the path, just at the end of the garden, who takes you on a beautiful trip around the mountain. "The chalet was well kitted out with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. It was warm and had the addition of an open fire. It took us 10 minutes to drive to the slopes each day, which was perfect and meant we were skiing before 9am, with a short drive home after. "We had a lovely time skiing at Champoluc for the week. Apartment was really great - one of the best we've stayed at on many ski holidays. Cozy, warm and comfortable with beautiful views. We had a car so left are ski equipment in the car and drove 3 minutes to either Telecabine in Champoluc or even quicker to the furnicular at Frachey. Thanks Luigi for your help."

"Cogne is simply beautiful. Small enough to be charming, big enough to stay busy and entertained. The Chateau Royal was a great home base. Centrally located, comfortable and we'll equipped. We originally booked two nights but added two more as it was such a great village with so much to do. We hiked, fished, rafted and paraglided plus catching some of the abundant castles and forts in the Sister Valley). This one is a do-over (we'll be back:-)."
