Mccloud Mercantile Hotel

2.5 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (75)
" This is my favorite place to stay. I have been staying here since the early 2000s and have stayed at least 10 times (if not more). The Inn is beautifully and meticulously restored keeping with the time-period of the building but adding modern conveniences such as excellent water pressure, comfortable beds, and many other amenities. The owners are so warm and welcoming. I recommend the Mercantile Inn to everyone I know. "

"Overall my stay was 9/10. The room is spacious with everything you need and match what’s listed in the description from the hotel. The two downside of the hotel was the bed it was hard as a rock and not comfortable at all & the shower. The shower head was not adjustable & the pressure was high. I’m 5’3 so is sprayed directly in my face with tremendous force. So I had to stand off to the side which was an annoyance. Otherwise everything was great. "Overall, I liked this place. It was charming and the staff very friendly. I think my largest complaint is that the bathroom is freezing during the fall/winter/spring. It's not heated, and sitting on the ice cold toilet seat made me not want to go. Not sure how this issue could be resolved, but the experience would be so much better if I didn't fear going to the bathroom."

"The Angler Lodge was a great find for our family! We are a family of 5 and every kid had their own bed! --One king, one twin, and twin bunks. We had the 2 bedroom suite. The room was clean, even in places where I'd expect to find dust. The beds were comfortable and the pillows and comforters were fluffy. Heater worked very well. Check in was a breeze! Noncontact.
