« After Hurricane Helene, our Vrbo was destroyed along with the town of Chimney Rock, NC. We scrambled to find something with the amenities we were used to (mountains, hot tub, views, river, fireplace). This place filled the bill. Beautiful property with direct access to the Chattahoochee and hiking. Close to Helen, GA for shopping, dining and waterfalls. The only negative that we found was that the beds were super firm. May want to bring your own pillow topper. »

« A group of us ladies traveled from all over and stayed to attend a ministry training. The owner was accommodating and prompt. Take note that the pathway to house is a little steep if you have anyone with limitations. And the coffee pot is a 5cup so if you need larger I would reach out to host as I’m sure he would meet your needs. Thank you for a wonderful stay. »

« This home was amazing!!! We had a 3-day family T-Day celebration with a group of 11 including 5 kiddos under 6. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen had everything needed to support our Thanksgiving feast. Beds and linens were comfortable. The outdoor spaces were spacious and safe for kiddos. The home had so much charm and character. « A very nice place. Quiet with nice views of the water. Having coffee in the morning while the deer were wandering around was certainly welcome. Everything was clean and neatly presented. Billiards and Air Hockey were nice surprises. I’d stay there again. »

However, the property needs maintenance, the interior needs upkeep (light bulbs out, remotes need batteries, Master Bathroom sink remains clogged, interior drawers and cabinets need cleaned but the biggest concern was pest control (too many live roaches!) »

« The cabin is cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s a bit quirky that you have to go outside to get to the second floor game room and the laundry is also a separate entry on the rear of the cabin. But everything is well appointed and clean. The road to the cabin - pavement ends and then gets very narrow. I recommend traveling it the first time during daylight hours. Thank you for a pleasant stay! »
