« Overall I would say the property could be excellent. There were guests with dogs in the cottage next door - so close virtually attached - there are no fences and their dobermann would enjoy her No2 in the morning on the lawn just in front of where we were sitting, and the jack russell would take every opportunity do a No1 on our deck chairs. « We enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable, had everything we needed, has a lovely, tranquil garden & the spa was definitely great after a 50km bike ride. The added extras such as chocolates, a bottle of wine, bacon, eggs, a loaf of bread & water bottles was an added bonus. (Just sorry that Velvet & Willow Wines was not open over the Xmas/NY - would have loved to have stopped in there.) Thank you for letting us stay, Ileen & Richard. »

« My partner and I stayed in the sunrise cabin last weekend. It was lovely and very inviting. The cabin had everything we needed and a beautiful indoor fire which heated the place up. The views overlooking the vines were spectacular and we couldn’t fault anything from our weekend stay. We will definitely be back. »

« We had many problems in the cottage, starting with difficulty getting the key out of the black box. Unable to contact owner or maintenance man on either numbers given. Heater not working, control panel very grimy, freezer shelf badly in need of defrosting, outside back light not working, wood stove not working efficiently because of ashes from previous fires, and no pan or tools to clean it out with. Because heater not working, insufficient wood for wood fire. cobwebs in 2nd bedroom. »
