Riverside Manna, "Gateway to Beautiful Yosemite Valley" Modern 3bd/2 ba cottage

Nestled in the Sierras this charming 3 bedroom 2 bath cottage offer plenty to do. Sound of Chowchilla river flowing back of the house make you feel so relaxed. The main living area has a cozy setting that every one can enjoy the fire place and watch TV. Open kitchen will give you room to make your favorite dish at ease. All the utensils are in place and for your convenience & the cabinets have been labeled. Free WiFi and only Verizon cell service will work at the house. Patio has a charcoal BBQ for all your BBQ needs. Guests can enjoy sitting at the picnic bench and watch occasional Deer and Turkey walk through the back yard.

Master bedroom has a king bed with an attached toilet, 2nd bedroom has queen bed and the 3rd room has a twin size bed and a twin bunk bed for the kids. Guest can enjoy the open floor plan of the house. Walking to the river it is short walk down the hill in the back yard. It is a great place to relax, listening to the water flow. During the winter months, warm up with the wood burning stove and standard gas heating at the house. Some winters there will be 1 to 2 inches of snow. For all the shooting enthuses there is a free shooting rang couple of minutes’ drive towards the national forest. It is a nice drive and also you can enjoy the beautiful views of the mountain range.
The property is located between Mariposa and Oakhurst town close to Hwy 49. Mariposa is a historic town and the house is located 25 minutes away from the property. The town has wonderful restaurants & bars. You could visit the Museum & Historic Center, California State Mining & Mineral Center, Zip line and Aerial Adventure parks and also can visit the Mariposa County Old Stone Jail while you are there. You will find interesting shopping, including antiques and western/cowboy themed memorabilia.  
From this mountain getaway, you can easily explore Yosemite valley, Mariposa Gold Country, and the Wild and Scenic Merced River. It is about a hour drive to the Yosemite park entrance. Choose from so many activities: hike Yosemite's spectacular trails, take a leisurely bike ride or float on a raft through Yosemite Valley in the Merced river and backpacking.

It was a nice home. There were 7 adults and we each had a bed. Anything over we believe someone would be sleeping on the couch. The view was lovely out the back door. Lots of curvy roads to get to the location.

Everything we needed for our quick getaway to Yosemite
My friends and I stayed at Paul's place for our 2-day trip to Yosemite. Convenient location ~1.5 hours away from the park, located in a nice and quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, utinsels, and cutlery (even some appliances like a toaster and hand mixer) which was very nice since we opted to have home cooked meals instead of eating out. The little pathway leading to the river in the back was also a nice little surprise! Overall, the house was very clean and well maintained. Great communication and timely responses from the host. I would definitely stay here again for my next trip to Yosemite!

Great house for families at Yosemite
We had a great time at this home. It took about 90 minutes to get to Yosemite Valley, but it was worth it. The house has plenty of room and everything we needed in a quiet neighborhood. The internet worked great at the house. Internet service is spotty along the roads to Yosemite. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We'd stay here again. Thanks!

Great location. We were about 25 miles away from Yosemite and it took us about an hour to get to the entrance. The house was wonderful and the owner was quick to reply to any of our questions. House was very clean and that is my number one concern when I rent a place.

We had plenty of room. Neighborhood was quiet and pretty convenient for not staying directly in Yosemite. There were a couple of downfalls, the internet was spotty and we couldn't take showers in both bathrooms at the same time without running out of hot water, but we worked around it. Check-in and out was simple and convenient. Overall, we were very pleased.

We stayed here to visit Yosemite park, the ride into the park took a bit longer than we’d have liked but that is no fault of the property. The house was good and we enjoyed using the BBQ to cook dinner.

Amazing Stay
The house was incredibly cozy and comforting. The backyard is beautiful, with the short trip to the relaxing river adds so much more to the experience. The beds were comfortable, the house was warm, and every room in the house was clean. I recommend staying because the experience is one I definitely will pay to have again.

Perfect mountain getaway
My family traveled from Florida to San Francisco and then to the mountains, staying in this home and taking a day trip to Yosemite. The house was well-appointed and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen, which had just about everything! Mariposa was such a cute little town and the grocery store was awesome. The trip to Yosemite was great - we were even able to rent snow chains from a gas station in Mariposa. Owner communicated very well and we had a fantastic stay!

Nice Quiet Get Away
We chose to stay here because it is relatively close to Yosemite. It’s quite a drive to sequoia, but still doable. The house was nice, perfect size for us 2 adults and 4 kids. We saw wildlife daily on the property. Turkey and deer. The river is dry in august and we didn’t feel comfortable with campfires or grilling out with the fire risks at this time of year. I would stay here again. If you stay here, don’t buy salt and pepper. We left ours and so did the 10 guests before us 😂

Everything about this location was superb. I loved the house the yard and the king size bed was very comfortable. Eating breakfast outside and watching deer eat was the perfect morning. Great Get Away!
This home was very clean and relaxing. House is very well maintained and Paul was extremely prompt with answering any questions that we had. It was a beautiful drive to Yosemite we took a different route each of the 2 days we went into the park so we could see the whole area. It took just a little over an hour. Mariposa is a great little town too. After a long day of hiking in Yosemite we stopped in Mariposa for pizza. My only..... and I do mean only complaint was that the River had no water in it so we did not get to enjoy the sound of the water as advertised or swim as some of the other reviews had posted. Would have been nice to know that the River amenity was not available for our stay prior to getting there. I would recommend that if that is an important feature to you - to ask before you book.

Serene location
This home was so comfortable and cool when it was very hot outside. There was plenty of space and all our needs were provided for. The beds were very comfortable, towels soft and fluffy, and every room felt welcoming. The back patio was extensive and quiet with a shady backyard with tall trees and a beautiful small river at the base of the property. We would definitely stay again!!

The property was very clean and comfortable. In a good location as we were able to visit Bass lake, Yosemite South Entrance (Mariposa Grove) and North entrance (Yosemite Valley). Enjoyed eating breakfast on back patio while observing deer and wild turkeys! Very peaceful.
