« We had the most wonderful time at this farm stay. Denise and Bruce were amazing hosts! The accommodations were very comfortable and the animals were amazing! We were able to see/interact with horses, a cow, sheep, chickens and rabbits! Highly recommend!! »

« The accommodations are in an older farm house, so may not be for those accustomed to newer accommodations. We found our guest room to be clean and comfortable. Beautiful, pastoral, quiet / private location. We enjoyed visiting the sheep and goats located in pens near the farm house and feeding them some treats. While the location is somewhat remote (long driveway), this adds to the charm and once one gets to the nearby Route 9, it is a relatively short and easy drive to area stores, attractions...

« This is a room in a lovely old farmhouse. I thought the description could have been more detailed: I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The room is on the second floor; the bathroom is private but down a short hallway. The property is in the country and very quiet. Restaurants and stores are in Ellsworth, and easy 20-25 minute drive. Hosts are lovely and not intrusive. »

« Place was as described and almost perfect for our needs. The proximity to the lake was great and the dogs had a great time playing in the water. The house was well equipped and came thru in stars when we executed our lobster boil and roll making. Beds were comfy and bedrooms were spread out enough in this somewhat creaky house to keep everyone sleeping soundly. Bathrooms only on the first floor was a minor inconvenience »

« This was a very nice an fun place to stay. Everything we needed was right where it needed to be. It was a great place to bring the dog. The walk down to the water got to be a regular routine. The house was clean and the heat works really fast with only subtle adjustments. Just remember to watch your head. There are several low ceiling areas that will bring you to your sense if you disregard them. Our hosts were responsive and helpful. Definitely would stay here again. »

« I was blown away by this property and the property managers. Words don't do it justice. It's adorable, unique, clean, peaceful and there is something enjoyable for everyone of all ages. From the downstairs bookstore just casually available in the living room, the fireplace, to the field of flowers in the back, and the screened in porch, to the refurbished bathtub reading nook. It was a magical place on a magical island and the perfect stay! »
