« The dining room and lounge area are smart and well kept. The breakfast was reasonable, but I can find nothing else positive to say about the hotel. I have never stayed in such a small room. Four hooks on the wall were the only place for clothes (no coat-hangers, no drawers). The threadbare carpet should have been changed years ago. The receptionist eventually checked-me in once she had finished her paper-work. I am amazed the hotel has not been closed down. To be avoided. »

« Location is what you expect being so close to the airport and right on the edge of town. If you need somewhere to stay the night before your flight it’s perfect! Our room was spacious, and we had tea & coffee making available. On the first night it was warm, but the second night it was cold and the heating didn’t come on in the morning even. We stayed to visit family who live in Ponteland, so without a car it was a challenge. Overall, I felt it was expensive for room only (as advertised)...
