Ground Floor Studio Apartment on a peaceful road and only 3 minutes walk away from the Southfields Tube Station and shops. Fully furnished bedroom with ensuite bathroom, full kitchen, washing machine/Dryer, Satellite TV and free WiFi. Very close to Tourist sites, and 10 minutes walk to Wimbledon Tennis Championship site.

Great place for a solo-trip to London

Trop cher et pas forcément conforme au descriptif

Nous venons tous les ans sur Londres pour voir des amis qui habitent à Wimbledon. Nous sommes restés 5 nuits dans ce studio. Honnêtement, le gros point noir, c’est le bruit. C’est très mal isolé donc on entend les propriétaires monter/descendre les escaliers, les enfants qui courent et on les entend même parler. Étant donné que nous ne venions pas en touristes (j'entends par là qu’on ne partait pas de bonne heure le matin pour toute la journée puis retour le soir) mais plutôt pour nous reposer un peu, c’était un peu compliqué. J’avais pourtant lu les commentaires qui en faisaient mention mais j’aurais dû plus en tenir compte. Autre point « négatif » qui fait que je ne mets que 2 étoiles au lieu de 3 : dans le descriptif « équipements » de l’annonce, il est spécifié que le petit déjeuner type continental est fourni (thé, café, sucre, sel, lait, pain, croissants et céréales). Pour les 4 premiers, pas de problème mais en ce qui concerne le lait, le pain, les croissants et les céréales, on n’en a pas vu la couleur... Dommage, ça nous aurait été très utile, surtout le premier jour car comme on est arrivés à minuit et qu’on avait un RDV le lendemain matin, on est partis le ventre vide de nourriture... Un peu l’impression d’être arnaqués sur ce coup là (car le prix de la nuit doit prendre ces éléments en compte) ! Après, le studio est très bien équipé (machine à laver, sèche-cheveux, cuisinière, micro-ondes, grille-pain...) et bien situé (quartier calme). Lubna est très gentille et très arrangeante (arrivée et départ tardifs sans problème). Je suis donc très partagée mais honnêtement je ne pense pas que nous reviendrons ici.

The apartment was very charming. The park was across the street. Tesco for a quick food was just across the park. The canal walk.. Lynn was a great host and answered all her questions as we ask them. Best job was right down the street.

2nd time still the charm:

This was our second time renting this listing. We loved it then and now. We stayed two weeks each time. It met our needs exactly. Close to all the necessary amenities. The tube, coffee in the morning, groceries and restaurants. All in a very clean and safe environment. Lubna is a very attentive and accommodating hoist. It feels like home in a very short time. We’ll rent it again!!!!

The location was excellent. Close to the underground and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Only real observation was that the studio was very “tired looking” on the inside. Could use a freshing up (paint/decorating). Host was very pleasant and easy to communicate with.

A perfect haven!

I really enjoyed this place! It is a beautiful studio with perfect amount of space for me. I was, also, very happy for the stove, washer/dryer and other amenities especially with the week long trip. The place was very close to the Underground which made travel very nice and the town is safe and very quaint. I definitely would love to return here!

Very efficient and lovely suite

We loved our stay. The apartment is in a great area, only 2 blocks from the tube. Has all of the necessary furnishings. Lubna ŵas very attentive and helpful. Would stay there again.

THE best!

Not only was my studio nice, but Lubna and her daughter , Farah(sp?) were the perfect hosts. A very clean and comfortable studio space. And quiet! The block that they're on is really nice too, and you're maybe 4 minutes from the Southfield Underground stop. In fact the whole area is REALLY nice. Great restaurants, my favorite, Franco Manca is no more than a 5 minute walk. SO convenient. AND at least three wonderful coffee shops. Caffe Nero is right across the street from the tube stop. Even coming from and going back to Heathrow is a breeze. One easy change at Earl's Court. I love London and I'd stay at Lubna's in Southfield again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Pros: - Great neighborhood and surrounding area. Tube bus and Tesco within walking distance as well as a few shops and restaurants - Easy check in process - Flat included basic cooking utilities which was nice for breakfast Cons: - A bit more attention could have been paid to cleaning - Rugs in main room and bathroom don’t feel very clean and could honestly just be taken out (I personally prefer hard floors) - Upstairs can be quite loud at times especially for sensitive sleepers Overall I would recommend this for a budget friendly stay in a really cute area.

Small space but perfect

The host was great and very welcoming and more helpful than I could ever ask. The space was a little smaller than expected (as promised, a studio) but we were very comfortable and the area was immaculate. Such a nice neighborhood, convenient location, thrilled with our choice to stay here.

lovely property

Lubna was unwell at the time, so her daughter gave me a brief introduction + was on hand if I had any queries. The property is very compact - space can seem a little tight in places - but had everything you would need to be self - sufficient. Situated in a quiet, leafy part of London with small local food shops. You really do get a sense of being partly in the countryside, while the tube station is just around the corner when you want more of the city experience. Back at the property, there's a tv with a myriad of channels to choose from.Very occasionally there was some noise overhead, but I was warned in advance + it wasn't an issue. Overall, very reasonably priced + would happily recommend, particularly for solo visitors.

Easy London Access - Quite Location

This property worked out fantastic for my son and I. Our agenda consisted of day trips to various areas in and around London so we didn’t need a large place to stay that was safe and quiet and clean, which this was! Quiet neighborhood, 5 minutes access to the Southfields tube station, plenty of shops and access to restaurants near by if you aren’t feeling up for meals in the center of London. Highly recommend.

Conveniently Located Studio Apartment Near Wimbledon

Cozy, clean studio apartment conveniently located 5 minutes walking distance from an Underground station, which provides easy access to Wimbledon and other major London sights. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood within easy walking distance to grocery stores, pubs and a variety of restaurants. The owner was kind and helpful, making sure that we had what we needed at check in and then giving us our privacy throughout our visit. Highly recommend.

The house the flat was in had a garden with all beautiful roses, the garage had been converted into the flat. There were problems with the dryer, it did not work, not much hot water, but there was a hot water tank in the shower that saved the day. We asked for paper towels and where not given any but the place was so small there was not much cleaning to do.
