Peace and Quiet at Sweet Acres

Enjoy a romantic getaway or a family outing. Our quaint guest house is nestled in the woods amoung fruit trees and bushes. Peace, quiet, private, and tranquil. The guest house has a master with a queen, and a second bedroom with two twin beds. There is also a futon in the sitting room. Fully equipped kitchen or cook outdoors at our pool pavilion. Choose from Green Egg, Pellet Grill, or Wok. Cool off in our pool while your meal is cooking. Enjoy a campfire at the fire pit. Finish off the evening with some classic s'mores and your favorite beverage.
We are minutes from Historic Stone Mountain Park and the Lazer Show.

Thank you very much. It was a very special weekend. It was our first time of meeting each other face to face and you helped make it very special. The cookies and blueberries were great. I live in AL and John lives about 30 or so minutes from your guesthouse. This was his first experience with staying in a place such as this. We do apologize for the bike noise this morning. I had to leave to be at work and had a 4+ hour drive and he has to go in early.

A lovely getaway in a gorgeous wooded forest
From the beginning, communication with the owners was smooth and we always got quick and helpful response. The cozy cottage has everything you need and is spotless! The cottage is well stocked with everything! There are plenty of towels, and everything felt so nice and clean! Mike and Becky were so accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed! Our favorite part of the rental is the natural environment it is surrounded by. When you wake up in the morning, since the bedrooms are upstairs(bathroom downstairs,) it’s like you are in a treehouse! The birds singing in the woods are incredible! At any given time I could identify 7 different species on my bird song app. The rental is off of beautiful backroads and was the perfect location to visit family in a nearby town and Atlanta. We highly recommend this rental!! Thank you Becky and Mike!!!

Would definitely stay here again! They don't call it sweet acres for nothing it's a quiet relaxing place to stay with plenty to do yet not too far from all the fun things to do and see! The pool is fantastic along with the outdoor kitchen. The hosts are wonderful people and very accommodating!

Because my sister and I went to be close to our mom in the hospital, we didnt spend as much time as we wished we had. But I can say that it was super clean and welcoming, specially with the delicious cookies. Extremely clean and private. The guest house is nestled by the trees on several acres. Upon arrival we were greeted by our hostess who was coming to turn on outside lights for us as we arrived close to dark. On the table we’re freshly baked cookies. The only concern we had with the property was that the bathroom was located downstairs away from the bedrooms, so at night we had to navigate them cautiously. Otherwise it was perfect for us.

I'd give this five stars just for Mike and Becky! They are so sweet, nice, and just all around good people. The house was larger than it looked from the outside, cute and comfortable. Little cottage
The cottage was very cozy and clean, my husband and I brought our two grandkids to tour Covington. The kids loved the pool, the house had internet and many channels on the tv to watch, Becky and mike were so nice we made long life friends with them, we would go back in a heartbeat very peaceful and I cannot even explain the pool area is just beautiful! I can not even say enough nice stuff about Becky and mike they Are the nicest people, we enjoyed hang out with them and getting to know them! I recommend this place, it just feels like a second home!

Becky baked cookies for us to have upon arrival. The decor is so relaxing, and welcoming. Did get a chance to enjoy the pool due to an event, but it looked nice. Would surely recommend and book again.

Beautiful and peaceful, inside and out
Many flowering bushes along the driveway and around the house made for an inviting arrival. Everything in the little house worked perfectly. It was plenty roomy for the three of us for our 4 nights. The decorations were coordinated, tasteful, and inspiring. I would call this rustic if it wasn't so nicely decorated. Good coffee, by the way. Their dogs were cautious and would not have come to us if we hadn't called them. But when we did, they came running, bursting with enthusiastic friendliness. We went to downtown Atlanta, had dinner and saw game 3 of the Hawks/Heat playoff. Mike and Becky were attentive from just the right distance. I expect to stay here again if it is available the next time I am in town.
