« Owners obviously take care to have a very clean, comfortable experience. Loved the pool, but sorry I didnt scroll down far enough on 1 VACASA message that said that 3 days prior to arrival, request pool heater be turned on. I had planned on on lot of water walking, but guess this is on me. One recommendation about Master BR bed-It was an uncomfortable mattress and wasnt too steady on its feet, so I slept in other room. « This house was perfect!! Beautiful inside and out with a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed fishing from the beach, the Sand Bar for lunch and local fish from the market. House was well stocked with supplies for the beach and host was terrific with excellent communication. We have been to the area several times and this was by far and away our best trip. Just an amazing house and we cannot recommend it enough!!!! »

« This house was better than I could have imagined. This was our first visit to North Captiva and I could not have picked a better location to stay. The views are priceless. We loved everything about the island and the house and will be back for certain. The property owner and management co was easy to work with and provided us with everything we needed and then some. Thank you so much for making this a wonderful week of memories and fabulous shelling! »

« Perfect spot for a golf trip. House was awesome! Very clean. Pool table was a hit. We grilled out every night. Relaxed in the pool. Beds were comfy (I got the big bedroom with the AWESOME shower!) really there was nothing this house didn’t have! Pretty close to the downtown area if you wanted to go to the restaurants & bars, about a 3 minute drive. »

« Matt & Lynn were excellent Hosts. They made us feel very welcomed. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed for our short stay. I have rented many times through VRBO and they are at the top of the list as hosts. We hope to be back. »

« We loved this property, the kitchen is perfect for families that don’t want to eat out for every meal. The main bedrooms are awesome, and the ‘den’ with the sofa bed worked great for us as well. The property does not smell musty as some do, and is at the perfect distance for enjoying Lemon Bay and the Gulf. Neither were busy during our stay. Highly recommend. »

« We would stay here again! It is important to note that there is a short walk down the road to the beach. We are used to staying at beachfront properties, and it was no trouble at all to walk to the beach and enjoy our coffee. We were very worried about all the private property signs on the beach based on reviews we read. We had no trouble at all finding a spot on the beach. We were impressed by the cleanliness here and we had a great time! It’s a perfect place to stay for a small family! »

« Property was "as advertised. Location was excellent for ease of access to Venice and the surrounding area. Bird life was especially good for viewing in the back yard and we had at least 3 small alligators in the lake. Interior of the house was clean but could use some further maintenance (eg not all the blinds are in good repair.). Host was responsive and easy to work with. »

« Property was well maintained We had no issues with cleanliness and felt very comfortable staying there. As a couple in our late 70's we had an issue with the logistics of the pool and outside set up which required us to exit the pool area, and go down stairs to the lounge area, We had a minor issue with the number of glasses in the kitchen area (we bought plastic cups to use). Overall, however, a nice experience although the pool set up will keep us from coming back. »

« We snagged this property last minute as our previous rental through another company was cancelled. So happy we did! « Our family absolutely loved our time at this beach cottage!! It was an easy walk from the dock and even easier to the beach! We loved how safe and welcoming the island was! Our kids had endless fun with sea shelling/shark tooth hunting/swimming/boogie boarding and hanging out at our home away from home! We’ll be back for sure! »
