Welcome to Lake Escape!

Enjoy spectacular views from our spacious lakefront 2 bedroom, 2 full bath condo. We are located inside the gates of Rumbling Bald Resort, and less than 1/2 mile from everything the resort has to offer! There are 2 championship golf courses, beach area and marina, kayak and boat rentals, 3 outdoors and 1 indoor pool, a wellness center, courts, mini golf. Or relax and unwind on one of our 2 decks overlooking beautiful Lake Lure. Lake living at it's best!

As you walk through the front door, you will realize why we call our beloved space "Lake Escape"! You will be amazed by the views from the airy and sun filled open living area and doors leading to the deck.

You will have direct access to the lake from our small, private dock and use of our 2 kayaks! You will never tire of the magnificent lake and mountain views!

Our place can sleep up to 6 adults comfortably, but can accommodate 8 in total if including small children.

The master bedroom, located on the lower level, has a king size bed and a cot in the closet. The guest room, which is on the first level, has 1 full size bed and 2 twin beds. There is a super comfy full size futon located in the family room, which is on the second level.

There is a large deck off the master bedroom to enjoy the magnificent views as you sip your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail! In the master bath, there is a large jetted tub and stall shower, as well as a large linen closet for your use. There is a full bath in the guest bedroom that has a tub/shower combo. Each bedroom has cable TV.

Linens and towels are supplied. The beds will be freshly made and there are 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel, 2 washcloths and a make up towel for each guest. Please only use these for their intended purpose. We also have a few beach towels in the master linen closet.

The second level is an open, airy space that includes the family room, dining area and kitchen. There are 2 doors leading to the deck.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the major appliances, as well as a coffee pot with filters, George Foreman grill, toaster, blender, cutlery, utensils, dishes, glassware, pots, pans, bowls, muffin tins, cookie sheets, hand mixer, cutting boards, and large pantry.

In the family room, we have a library of books (take 1 leave 1), Wi-fi, cable TV, a DVD player, a Bluetooth speaker, and a working wood fireplace.

There is a washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, vacuum, and a cooler and thermos for your use in the laundry room. In the front hall closet, there are 2 stadium chairs and 2 umbrellas.

For your convenience, we provide 2 days worth of coffee, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. We also provide 1 single load box of laundry detergent.

AMENITIES: We provide each guest (up to 8) with a guest pass to all the resort amenities, including the beach, the courts, horse shoes, basketball, corn hole, a lap pool, a lazy river pool, and the wellness center, which houses the fitness center, indoor pool and spa.. Some amenities cost a small fee, such as golf (there are 2 championship courses!), tennis and pickleball racquet rental, mini golf, kayak and boat rentals.

There are also a number of fabulous hiking trails within the gates as well as a short distance away, like Chimney Rock Park and Hickory Nut Falls! Or stroll the streets of downtown Chimney Rock, which is about 20 minutes away, or take the scenic drive to amazing Asheville, or Hendersonville. Visit Burntshirt Vineyards along the way! Do it all or do nothing! Sit on one of our 2 decks, read, nap or just enjoy the sights and sounds of lake living!
