"This is a beautiful property in a 15th century mansion in a lovely little town. It was great to have private secure parking and the staff was so helpful. The bar was a great little spot and breakfast was delicious. There is no restaurant however and only selected options at the bar. We were there in mid-November and restaurant options in town were limited. Overall highly recommended and reasonably priced."
"Our family enjoyed a two night stay at Casona De La Pinta and we were very impressed. It was the highlight of our trip. We travelled from Biarritz, France into Spain and through Navarra, the Basque country and into Cantabria - and we fell in love with this boutique hotel and the village of Riocorvo. The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and they were very forgiving of our limited Spanish. We stayed in the Presidential Studio Suite which was beautifully...
"One of the best experiences we’ve had after many trips. The location, atmosphere, architecture, decor, details, service, and attention were impeccable. Worth returning to."
"El alojamiento está muy bien y el personal te da muchas facilidades. Es verdad que nosotros cogimos un apartamento de dos y lo ampliamos a 4 con el sofá cama, y no es lo más cómodo, pero para unos días puede servir.
El único pero que le pongo es que el baño huele mal, pero por lo que nos han dicho (en el hotel y en el pueblo) es algo que pasa cuando llueve.
Lo demás, ¡genial!"
"Difficult to locate, parking is a long walk away up and down cobble-stone streets, check-in is complicated, the apartment name is not as advertised, the nearby church bells sound on the hour. Given the cost and problems it is not good value for money - better to stay at the nearby Parador.
Can fully recommend Santillana."
"Everything was excelent. Only problem was lack of instructions on checking in. We arrived in the evening and it was raining. But the stay was perfect."
"Free parking on public highway is congested. Private, open air car park is a long way from hotel itself. Front apartments overlook superb marine view. Food in cafe and restaurant was good. Reception staff could be more welcoming. "
"We experienced a warm welcome, the room was as you would expect in a building of this period. The bed was not very comfortable but the hot bath made up for it.There was a nice view of the mountains from the window. We ate in the restaurant and although the starter (goats cheese and caramelized onion) was delicious the Main course (Steak with roast potatoes and roast vegetables) was so salty it was inedible. Also theroast potatoes were substituted with chips. On the whole a very disappointing...
"Basic hotel convenient for an evening arrival on the ferry for those who don't want to drive far on the first night. Hotel overlooks open countryside to the town beyond. Rooms could do with better soundproofing, ours was just above open reception area and quite noisy and we could hear water pumping around all the time."
"Everything was good, comfy bed good water pressure in the shower, friendly service. The only thing that could be improved is soundproofing, noice from the street can be heard even with closed windows. On the other side it's small town and gets quiet early."

"Absolutely stunning property in a beautiful medieval town. Our host couldn’t be more accommodating. He took so much time showing us the rooms , area and the views . This town is off the tourist route but so worth a visit ! Come stay here !"
A verified traveller stayed at Posada La Casa del Organista
"Beautiful room with two balconies and lovely furnishings. The bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was cavernous. The hotel is in a wonderfully decorated historic building in the center of town. A perfect place from which to enjoy Santillana Del Mar. The only point against them is that there is no coffee maker or kettle in the room. Parking available in their lot for a small charge. "

"Excellent place to stay. Very clean and very friendly staff. Excellent location to visit the “must see” medieval town of Santillana Del Mar in Cantabria. This northern part of Spain is very beautiful and this hotel is also very convenient to sight see towns around. The Altamira Caves and its replicas, another must see, are 2 - 3 minutes away. Loved the place."
