"We had a fantastic time staying at this gite, with three generations of our family. The house is well equipped and very comfortable - and has lots of space for bikes to be stored. It is a short cycle ride to Saint-Martin, to the centre of Bois-Plage (where there is a market every day during the summer) and to the beach. We would recommend the house to other large family groups!"

Lage super für Radtouren, mit dem Rad sind es nur wenige Minuten zu einem der schönsten Strände der Insel. Die Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin und der Verwalterin hat bestens geklappt. "The house was clean and comfortable but had some drawbacks in layout and would not pass safety checks for rental properties in the UK. The main problem is the kitchen which was dangerous. It has a hob, a sink and a draining board without any work surface. We had to use the kettle and toaster on the draining board, which would be an electrical hazard if wet. "This was our second year at this property, absolutely perfect, beautiful property, fantastic location, 15 minutes walk into the town of Angles, where we had some amazing meals and lovely local bar, 10 minutes drive to the beach, 30 minutes drive to Luçon where we got the train to La Rochelle, there is a super market 5 minutes walk from the property with a petrol station.
