5BR/3.5BA home is located steps from a tidal river beach that’s perfect for kayaking & canoeing. This house is FULL of amenities. Renovated & updated in all the best ways, modern coastal design enhances 3 sunny floors. Relax in the living room and sunroom, or watch a movie or the big game in the media room . Surprises await in snack room, and a new hideaway speakeasy. Enjoy meals on the rooftop deck & dining patio. A gas firepit sets the scene for s’mores and conversation. Central AC is a plus.

LIVING AREA
With an electric fireplace, smart TV, and comfy furniture, the living offers a peaceful retreat. Guest accounts are available to watch your favorite series or movies on streaming services. The sunroom includes banquette seating around a small table, perfect for a game of checkers or chess.

A completely unique addition is the new speakeasy. Preacher’s Pub is secretly hidden behind a bookcase and is a comfortable and charming place to spend an evening "away" without leaving the house!

The media room features a large comfy sectional and 70” smart TV. The well-stocked, adjacent snack room includes a stainless-steel fridge and microwave. Enjoy some free candy and popcorn! Our resident decoy “housegoose” resides in the dining room, as well. BED & BATH
The suite on the1st floor features a queen bed, a quiet reading nook, outdoor access & en-suite bathroom.

3 BRs comprise the 2nd floor. With a private balcony & a window seat, the 2nd BR is a dreamy retreat. Rest easy on a full-size bed. The 3rd BR has a pair of twin beds, while the 4th BR is furnished with a queen bed & sitting area. The 2nd -floor guest bathroom features a tub/shower combo, double vanity, and a Bluetooth speaker integrated into the ceiling light. An additional half bath provides added convenience.

A second suite on the 3rd floor includes a king bed, a bright sitting area with views of the Turbats Creek fish houses & en-suite half bath. Away from the rest of the house, you can unwind in the Japanese soaking tub.

A pack and play and high chair makes this a perfect vacation spot for the whole family.

Enjoy the sea air on the rooftop deck, with views of the Atlantic, marshes, and a tidal river. Lounge chairs and a dining table for four provide plenty of seating. A small beach is just steps away. At low tide, a walk to explore Vaughn Island is possible.

The brick patio has everything needed for cookouts. Fire up the gas grill and savor alfresco meals at the table for eight. There’s ample seating around a gas firepit in the yard. The covered front porch provides another spot to enjoy the great outdoors.
There is beach equipment -- a large cooler, a chair umbrella, small portable beach table, picnic backpack and beach games. There are beach towels (located in the linen closet on the second floor) and beach chairs 4 low-seaters (non-reclining) and 4 adjustable/reclining chairs. Explore the neighborhood on the 4 provided bikes. (2 cruisers, 2 Mt bikes.) and a kayak.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this home in Kennebunkport where we gathered for Christmas Prelude This home is beautiful and has everything you could ever want for your vacation. The location is beautiful and peaceful and still just a short drive to town. It was such a nice surprise to see it decorated for Christmas! Property manager was accessbile and got back to us immediately for any questions. Our favorite was the Speakeasy - what a treat! Hope to get back again!

This Great Cove
There is nothing better than when a vacation rental exceeds expectations. That's just what this property was. We visited during Thanksgiving week, it was very cold outside so we got to spend a lot of time inside the house where luckily we were cozy and felt very much at home. They thought of all of holiday decor which made it feel even more special. The house was very complete with everything we needed, from kitchen to bed and bath. It was very easy to talk to the management company who were very helpful. The home was very clean and the location was great. We can't wait to go back.

Wonderful getaway house
Thisgood cove is a spacious and very well appointed vacation house that is just perfect for a large group (even though there were only five of us each with our own room). House was very clean & great instruction book for things such as heat/AC, internet, etc. Comfy beds, nice linens & everything one could require if forgotten such as extra toothbrushes. Kitchen had everything one could need & we appreciated the variety of Kcups & the Nespresso machine. The views from the roof deck just beautiful, lots of cozy spaces to read a book or just chill. The candy bar & speakeasy were delightful touches. We have rented many houses and this was definitely one of the best!

Hidden gem
Proximity to the ocean and privacy make this house a great fit for our family. Close to Kennebunkport without the crowds. Watched seals in the bay all week. This is my second stay at this place and I’ll be back again!

This property is amazing! Kennebunkport wedding with family, the house was spacious for 10 people to get ready and not feel on top of each other. The roof top deck offers a beautiful spot to start the day and close out the evening. Love this location, close enough to Port and Gooserocks beach. Thank you for the memories

Marvelous retreat
There are retreats for the entire family in this well-outfitted home by the sea. Our four family units were able to have space away from one another if they wanted because there was the deck, living room, speakeasy, firepit, upstairs TV room, and screened-in porch where the little girls liked to play. I was impressed that the management was responsive to our questions and requests, and I would recommend this vacation home for families.

Amazing Home
We had an amazing time here at this home. Had everything we needed. Was clean. Was very spacious. The speak easy room was a big hit, and a nice little spot to talk and have cocktails in. We loved that the house was so close to the water and the views were beautiful. The check in and out process was easy and convenient. Would definitely recommend this home and would stay here again the next time we travel to Maine! Thank you!

We had such an enjoyable time with the family. The house was beautifully decorated, comfortable, cozy and had so many amenities. My family surprised me with a 5 course meal prepared by a chef and the house had everything she needed in the kitchen to prepare and serve dinner (pots, pans, utensils, serving platters, wine glasses….). The kids loved the movie room, candy room and the Japanese soaking tub while the adults relaxed in the living room and speakeasy. House was close to down town and easy for day trips to Ogunquit and Portland. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic Interior and Exterior Property
Property is excellent for families. Walking distance to small beach area, bikes provided, lots of small sport type gadgets on site to keep kids engaged. Sitting area above garage is beautiful but obstructed by crossing of power lines. Inside of house and rooms are extremely well decorated and maintained. I'd rank interior in top 5 of 75 VRBOs we have stayed at. Building of nearby house has lots of early morning traffic - Oct. of 2023.

Amazing Vacation
Thisgood Cove is pretty spectacular. The rooftop deck, speakeasy, and candy room were a big hit. It was the perfect home base to relax after a busy day at the beach or visiting the beautiful sites. I enjoyed having my coffee while walking in the cove during low tide every morning. The house is well-appointed and well stocked. We definitely hope to come back next summer.

Great spot for first Kennebunkport trip!
Thisgood Cove was the perfect house for our extended family to spend a weekend in Kennebunkport! The house was spacious, updated, and well-stocked (details like the candy bar and extra toiletries/cleaning supplies). We especially loved spending time on the rooftop deck with views of the water and in the speakeasy after dinner. Although there are only 3 showers in the house, there are two extra half baths and mirrors in some of the bedrooms, so we were able to all get ready at the same time. We loved the location - on the quieter side of Kennebunkport with easy access to outdoor activities (beach right down from the house, walk along Ocean Ave, marina behind Breakwater Inn) and dining (Mabel’s, Coveside Market, Cape Porpoise Kitchen). Highly recommended!

Best Vacation House!
This was an amazing property. It's situated on a quiet cove that was perfect for the kids to explore and splash around in. The house has EVERYTHING you could need and the hosts have made sure to leave extras in the bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, etc. We could not have been happier with the location, cleanliness and amenities! We will definitely be back!

Great House!!!
Our stay at This Good Cove was great! We were there to celebrate our Mom’s 85th birthday. There were 9 of us and we had plenty of space, but all of us kept hanging out in the Speakeasy, lol!!! This is a very clean home and it has everything!!! When they say well stocked kitchen, they mean it!!!
