"We booked a corner room with club access and it was perfect for our 3-night stay. The staff in the club were very professional and welcoming and the food and drinks were very good. The views from the hotel were impressive and we enjoyed having a cocktail and watching the sunset from the club every night. The two things that were somewhat disappointing were the concierge services and the Centara app. We stopped by the concierge desk several times to ask for restaurant recommendations and/or reservations and, each time, they just searched online and then wrote some information on a piece of paper for us. We then had to make the reservations ourselves on the restaurant's website. We can easily do online research ourselves and don't need to stop by a desk, wait in line, etc., to get the same information. In other hotels, the concierge actually adds value by sharing their knowledge and expertise. Also, the Centara app is poorly designed. There was a sign in the club that claimed the app would allow us to use our mobile phone as a digital key so we went through the process of downloading the app, creating an account, etc. When I couldn't figure out how to set up the digital key, I asked the staff in the lounge who smiled and said "No, that doesn't work at our hotel." Without that functionality, the app just seemed overly complicated and not useful in any way. Those are minor complaints, though. Overall, we had a very nice stay."
