Location was great! Overall, a bit loud but worth the location and price. We felt comfortable and safe the entire time! I read previous reviews and many people live in fear and make up things. ;)

Mr. Ben Park at the front desk is wonderful. We had a big group to check in, he clearly knew how to handle it. He not only understood our needs but also gave some useful advice on how to manage check in and check out. He is one the best check in staff we have ever deal with. 5 star on him! But the other staff, especially a girl at the front desk needs to be trained. She had an attitude when speaking to us and it felt like being rebuked every time we asked for her assistance. So we all tried to avoid her. Mr. Park will bring back business to your hotel. That girl at the front desk will not.

The front desk staff are absolutely stellar. We were greeted with warmth and I had a package sent to the hotel. They remembered and brought it to me at check-in without me having to ask about it. It was really wonderful and made me feel valued as a guest :)
The room was great (although, I don't love showers without full doors/curtains, so that was the only downside). I was shocked by how quiet it was. It made us feel like we had privacy and we were able to rest well without hearing other guests.
There are convenience stores, McDonald's, Starbucks and 24-hour local restaurants all very nearby. It will take about 10 minutes to walk to the nearest train station, but if you're in a rush taxis are really affordable in South Korea.
We felt safe and comfortable for our entire stay and we would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. Highly recommend Shilla Stay Seocho!

Property is a place to consider if you’re wanting a pet night life scene. Lots of clubs and bars to choose from. Hotel was decent. Staff were not friendly. Rooms were a decent size. Sheets weren’t really clean. I found someone’s hair in the sheets. Yuck. It is EXTREMELY loud at night every single night with the nearby bars. Can’t sleep without earplugs.

"Great location in Seoul- really easy to walk to places nearby or catch the bus. The service here was great- the cleanliness of the rooms was spot on. The only downside was the rooms being a bit small, but overall pretty good experience."
