« Our experience at this cottage was extremely disappointing. After driving for 4 hours, we had to clean for two hours before unpacking to make it a bit more acceptable. Where do I begin, the cottage was very dirty and so are the pots and pans left there to be used by the guests. The kettle on the stove was filled with dirty rusty water, the cast iron pans were greasy and dirty, the table, chairs and wall behind the stove were very sticky. We rented a cottage with a dishwasher thinking we did...

« We stayed in this home for 2 nights during our trip to Maine. The place is in close proximity to a few convenience and grocery stores, as well as many restaurants and beautiful hiking trails in a ski village. The kitchen is fully equipped, and we enjoyed the balcony at the back of the place, which has a view of the river. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and this place was a great spot for us to relax after busy days in Sugarloaf. »

« Looked exactly like the photos, was truly a cabin-resort like experience with beautiful views and all the amenities you could need. Super peaceful and my family is already talking about returning again! »

« Look no further! This place has everything you need and then some. The location is absolutely perfect. It is off the beaten path and so serene, but still close enough to activities and food places to make it well worth a bit of extra driving. There is a Japanese soaker tub which was very cool and a steamer shower which is like a combination of a sauna and shower. Such a treat!! If you're into stargazing, you're in luck. The sky puts on a show nightly. We were lucky enough to see the ATLAS...

« We loved our vacation at Camp Baumann. The house was spacious and roomy yet cozy at the same time. So fun and unique and comfy spots for the whole family inside and outside on the multiple decks and docks. Loved the kayak and paddle boards, hot tub, fire pit - you name it. Steve was an excellent host. He was very responsive to my many questions and requests for recommendations. All 11 of us had a great time. »

BIG disappointment!!

"Our experience at this cottage was extremely disappointing. After driving for 4 hours, we had to clean for two hours before unpacking to make it a bit more acceptable. Where do I begin, the cottage was very dirty and so are the pots and pans left there to be used by the guests. We rented a cottage with a dishwasher thinking we did not have to do the dishes but the dishwasher was out of order and we were not informed of that prior to our arrival..The faucet in the kitchen was wably"
