« Just lost my wife to cancer and the family decided on a nice getaway. Mother in law ended up finding this place and I’m glad she did. The hospitality was amazing and the kids had a blast at the property especially the indoor pool. Everything we needed for a nice getaway was there and more as the property owner was always in contact and making sure we had what we needed at all times. »

« It appeared the place was not cleaned before we arrived. Bedsheets and towels were dirty, broken glass on the floor in two very different places of the house, 1 of the three queen-sized beds we couldn’t even use due to the frame being cracked and not being stable. Maintenance came out the next morning and said they couldn’t fix it so we had people sleeping on the couch and floor because the bed wasn’t usable, oven was filthy. The property is beautiful but all of the big divots in the ground...

« I grew up in a small town not far from this beautiful rental in Adel. Right off of a main highway but secluded by country surroundings. Super clean and great furnishings. My Iowa classmates meet each year and this is our favorite place to stay. You can’t ask for nicer owners or better facilities. A 10+ all the way. We will be back next year! »

« We had an excellent visit. The house is located near the trailheads of four different trails inside Whiterock. It was clean and the kitchen had everything non-food that we needed for dinner and breakfast. It was great to getaway from everything. If we really needed cell service, (which we didn’t) we found that there was a signal just 50 yards up the hill behind the house. The SoloStove worked great for hotdogs and s’mores. We look forward to our next visit! »

« Stayed the weekend for a quick getaway and shopping in nearby Earlham (Shop RJ Home). Cute golf course community. Quite and well maintained condo. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect for a couple looking to golf, relax or explore the area. »

« We booked this property for a nearby family reunion. Everything was as pictured and completely met my expectations. Other family members booked 2 other VRBOs in the Adel area and ours was by far the best. The host was completely responsive and helpful. Should I need to accommodate this many people again in Adel, I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook. Thank you Ian for hosting us. »

« We had a great experience with our family! The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The owners were incredibly responsive during the whole process. The house was exactly as described. We stayed for a week with our family and the house is perfect as it has a couple larger gathering areas indoors as well as outdoors. »

« We stayed because property is between IA State Fair, and our extended family in Minburn. Kids/Grandkids came down from Twin Cities and we from Chicago. Adel is a nice town and property is convenient in a nice neighborhood. Home is large and comfortable, property from 1930's? All appliances and kitchen and beds were in good shape. (Appreciated the A/C)! We had to work out some issues with the owner, but she responded quickly and appropriately. We all had a great time. »
