« Good family getaway spot, the backyard is definitely the highlight and has the most room for everyone to be together. The host was wonderful and super helpful, I really appreciated the early check in. My only criticism is that the photos online look like the cottage is farther away from the main house, but they are right next to each other, so there isn't a lot of privacy and the cottage is very small. »

« Carpinteria is just a special place. Paul’s tiny homes gave us a chance to experience it. Definitely read the description as there are quirks to this property. It’s two separate homes. The kitchen home has two lofts… one w/ a queen bed & one w/ a twin. The bedroom home has the bathroom. Those staying in the lofts need to go outside to get to the bathroom, but there is an exterior door directly into the bathroom. You’re on a farm, so there are animals including roosters nearby. « This house has a great location, walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops and just a few minutes from the beach. The beds were very comfortable and the house had everything you need for stay. We happened to stay during a heat wave and found that it took quite awhile for the PLUG- IN AC to cool place off. The owner also requested us to turn this off while we were not in the home, texting us about it during our stay to remind us. This was a little frustrating as we booked this home...

The location is just a few blocks off State Street so everything is walkable to the restaurants, shops and stores. There is also a little grocery store only 1 block away if you need to pick up some drinks and snacks. Would definitely stay again! »

« We appreciated the fresh flowers, novelty cat decor, and cozy ambiance of the 2 bedroom cottage (Woodford). Hospitality and communication was top notch. Caroline gave us a warm greeting and all the info we needed about the cottage and the area. Isabelle was helpful in coordinating our stay too. Breakfasts were OUTSTANDING!
