The house is amazing and away from the hustle and bustle of the north part of the island. You have your own private beach in the middle of the island, and it is the only house that has this. It’s turtle nesting season right now (July), and sea turtles nested on the beach at night during our stay. We even got to see little hatchling tracks into the ocean every morning. The house provides beach toys and floats and kayaks, sun umbrellas are opened and the beach is raked (while being very careful around the turtle nests) before sun up, and umbrellas are closed at sunset. Hire the chef for lunch and dinner (food is delicious, plan your menu with her) at least one day early in your stay, and have some food to pick on the rest of the of your stay. The staff Carlos, Ramon, and Jacquline really go out of their way to make sure your stay is as relaxing as possible, and will help you wash clothes, dishes, and plan excursions.
Tip-arrange for a private boat to cross from Cancun to the island instead of taking the public ferry, and they can drop you off right in front of the house in the marina. We used Isla Fun Tours. Also, each bedroom has a mini split AC, so keep your doors closed to keep your room cool.
Absolutely loved, loved, loved our stay there.
