The room was an average room for how old the hotel is but is nice and clean. Hugely lacks in customer service. We checked in after midnight on our first night and the lady that was working was super nice and so professional. Our second day the front desk clerk was unable to answer any questions at all, the answer was I am new and I don’t know. The reasoning she gave for our room not being restocked with fresh towels was that we weren’t on their list that was written down on scratch paper, even though we were in their computer system. The manager worked second shift. She was rude, hateful and unprofessional. I personally had to track down the cleaning crew to ask for fresh towels and trash bags. I took our used towels from the night before to the laundry and took out our trash. The manager informed me they only clean and restock the rooms on the third day of a guest stay with fresh towels ect. “They do not want to disturb their guest” In my opinion it is inconveniencing your guest who are being charged almost $200 a night because of the 3000 workers in this town right now working to have to track down the hotels cleaning staff to ask for fresh towels. These workers are not wanting to work 10-12hr shifts in freezing weather to come back to a their rooms and having to do the hotel staffs job. The manager is very aware that the majority of their guest are due to the workers who are there working on the oil refinery and that they leave around 6-630 each morning.
