We asked for larger room and willing to top up but what was offered was an amount close to what we were paying. "The hotel is within walkable range from Kanazawa Station. There's 2 shopping malls in between, one which you could walk through to reach the hotel and avoid some rain and snow. There's free coffee and tea for lodgers, the amenities were great too. If you want to visit most of the tourist spots around Kanazawa Station, it's within 2km vicinity so you could walk around too.
