« Egret is quite small but practical. We were able to walk to the beach and used the bikes for short morning rides. The cottage was nice and cool, which was much appreciated on the hot July days. It’s nice to see Sanibel coming back to life. »

« Despite the fact that all of Captiva and Sanibel are still working feverishly to recover from Hurricane Ian, the condo we stayed in was perfect. There is some noise outside, but it is necessary reconstruction/remodeling noise. Even so, one could barely hear it indoors. The pool was less than 100 steps from our unit and I was usually the only one there. The company that owns the unit was most accommodating and easy with which to work. »

« We loved our stay in Sanibel. This property is adorable and a short bike ride to the beach and restaurants. The Property manager was quick to respond to any questions we had. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The only negative was no closet or rack to hang clothes on. That being said, it’s the beach so I probably shouldn’t bring wrinkle prone clothing. Having the bikes was a very nice addition! »

« Nice secluded location. We liked the location for fishing, access to the beach is 1.3 miles down the road at Blind pass where parking is $5/hr or you can bike. Bring a hot plate if you want to cook other than the microwave. The lanai is nice but no see ums can get in we used it for storage of fishing gear »

« I loved the place we stayed! It was newly renovated and was very comfortable. The room my daughter and I got was very tiny, but was enough room for the two of us. What I liked most was everything you needed for the beach was there for your convenience. Having bikes made things easier because depending on the time of year you go traffic can be heavy, so riding a bike helps! It’s a little over a block away to the beach so we packed the car and drove down and unloaded, then drove back to the room...

« We had a wonderful time at Breakers West. The condo was absolutely spotless. It was the only condo group that was occupied due to the recent storms. The shells were piled up 3-4 feet in some spots on the beach due to the storms. The Island is rebuilding but we found plenty of spots open for lunch and dinner. The condo was a very short walk to the beach and it had everything we needed for a week stay. We would highly recommend this property. »

« Very short walk to a nice beach where the fishing was outstanding. Canal very handy in the back yard for a boat. Minimal furniture, for example nothing to set a suitcase on, but essentials were there. It was very clean and smelled fresh. The main bed was comfortable. We didn't use the twine. »
