"We love love loved the wood burning fireplace!!! The deck overlooking the lake was sublime. The kitchen spacious. Didn’t like the tv being in the bedroom. Would prefer to have it over the fireplace. The couch was pretty basic and not comfy. There was no coffee table so we moved the daybed over to put our feet up. Lots of birds chirping. Lovely."

The host provided amazing breakfast items (juice, milk, eggs, fresh local sourdough, butter, jam) which made the trip feel so special and the location was a perfect distance from the town (10 minute walk down to the pub and 15 mins to town). "Spent our first night and husband and wife. Was nice to get away from the city without having to drive too much. No frills basic stay. No light pollution on the night of Perseids meteor shower made for some romantic star gazing. Mongolian yurts were interesting to see! Thanks for a nice stay!"

"These chalets are gorgeous! My teenage daughter picked this spot to celebrate her 17th birthday and I wish we stayed longer than a weekend. I highly recommend this location especially for families. They have a ton of activities on the beach and watercraft to entertain kids of all ages. Hope to return soon!"

"We were a group of 9 cycling girlfriends from Victoria and this house was better than we expected. Having 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was perfect and the living/kitchen space accommodated all of us hanging out together. We never used the 2nd floor TV area (which was large) or the lower living area (also large), but spent all our time either out hiking or enjoying the views from every area of the house. Two dishwashers and sinks meant cleanup was simple. Fantastic 3 nights. "
