« Perhaps the only legitimate hotel in Gulangyu. The hotel is located right next to Shuzhuang Garden & Piano Museum, boasting scenic view of the bay area & sunlight rock. Its prime location is also highlighted by the fact that nursing home for retired government officials is situated a couple blocks away. The services in general exceeded my expectations. « We got very lost trying to get here as the directions on Hotels.com is misleading. In fact, the hotel is very near the concert hall. Best to get the phone number, go to a nice shop near concert hall and call. The lovely staff will come to retrieve you! Though staff was great, room had heavy mildew smell with obvious simple cover-up done over major mold issue. Room was cool though in the bunk bed set-up. Our kids loved that. »
