« We absolutely loved everything about this place and Roxanne, Ingy and Naka were the best hosts we have experienced on our many travels. Beautiful natural surroundings and views. Roxanne restaurant (the old slip way) is well worth a visit - superb food and ambiance. Also paradise beach. »

« Great place to stay if you appreciate slow living. Lucinda was warm and friendly. She baked bread for us and had the fridge stocked with breakfast supplies. The dogs, Rocky and Pickles were delightful. »

« This is a lovely property. The negative is no A/C - which we knew going in. There is a fan which helps a lot. Lucinda is an excellent cook, try to schedule meals there if you can, you won't regret it. If you have any mobility issues at all, check the bungalow you are in. Ours had 64 steps door to car, with bags and coolers that is rough. The grounds are beautiful, well maintained and full of life. »

« I stayed at Almost Paradise from March 12-26 and the best way I can describe it is as a dream come true. My adorable cottage sat on a hillside overlooking the ocean, and waking up every day to the gorgeous view was one of the amazing things about my stay. The cottages have all been beautifully taken care of, and I appreciated the property housekeeper coming in daily to tidy up.
