« What a gem! Calm water, crabs everywhere, porpoises out the window. It is a classic Canadian cabin, just like in lake country, except without the mosquitoes but with salmon right outside. We managed to get there in a small open boat (our big one was out of commission) by doing a deal with nearby April Pt Marina. »

« The upstairs apartment was very nice. The online listing says entire house but when you book it, it says you get the upstairs. There is no door to the upstairs besides the front door that also services the downstairs unit. This could be a safety issue and not very reasurring at night time. It was very clean and nicely furnished but seems new to short term rentals as kitchen just had basic stuff. The beds are comfortable but the bedding is lacking, needs a top sheet between you and the duvet...

« 4 adult siblings and 2 young teenagers fit perfectly in this beautiful suite. Lots of room to lounge, cook, play games, etc. We were lucky enough to have perfect summer weather so spent most of the time on the beach. The hosts checked in often via text to ensure all was well, many thoughtful little touches that you never knew you needed but really appreciated having. Will absolutely stay there again! »

« This is an absolute beautiful spot on the river. Our 3 night stay was wonderful especially the bear watching as well as all the other birds and fish visible from your living room windows. The first day we had a mother bear and 3 cubs come down to the other side of the river to eat some salmon that were swimming in the water. « The Beach House exceeded all expectations. The only problem with it was that I had to leave:) It’s set right on one of the most beautiful spots on the lagoon, the host Melissa is absolutely amazing and the decor, atmosphere even housewares are spectacular. To add to my delight, the property being so private was also fenced in so I had the door open for my dogs to enjoy the property as well. Hands down the most incredible place I have ever stayed at.
