Moving to Huntsville, and need a home while you look for your forever home? Renovating your home, and don’t want to live in an apartment or try to live in a construction zone? Just want a place to stay for a weekend, a month or more? This sweet cottage, built in the 1920s by members of the CCC, is the perfect solution if you need a fully furnished home. No detail has been spared, with heavenly beds and linens, beautiful vintage china, silver accents, hand painted furnishings, gorgeous art, lush oriental carpets on hardwood floors, and the most beautiful screened porch for enjoying magical mountain mornings and evenings. The large yard is full of seasonal flowers, old trees with beautiful fall foliage, and is surrounded by a low handcrafted stone wall. Very private, with lots of room for you and your family. There is nothing like it anywhere else in Huntsville.
Fiber warp speed internet, tv, lawn service, and the first $200 on utilities included in monthly rental.

Short stay for volleyball tournament
My daughter & I stayed here while she played a volleyball tournament. The house has everything we needed to cook & relax before she played. We had beautiful views out of the back windows overlooking the city below! So quiet & peaceful! Seemless check in & check out. Owners are responsive but unobtrusive.

Felt like home!
This warm and cozy bungalow was perfect for our visit over Thanksgiving week. My 7 year old son had so much fun playing outside in the leaves! My wife and I loved drinking coffee in the kitchen and baking cinnamon bread. It really started to feel like home to us. The owner was kind and communicated well. We really hope to visit again!

Magic on the Mountain
This adorable cottage house was a perfect place to gather. The kitchen was fully loaded with ball we needed to cook delicious meals and enjoy them in the dinning room. The front screened in porch was so peaceful to drink morning coffee and read and then we hit the hiking trails which were within a very short walking distance. The back deck overlooked a yard with chipmunks, does and birdwatching. And a very nice laundry room to that before retuning home all the laundry was already done. Lisa was so sweet and stopped by to see if we needed anything. Truly a magical place to stay. Placemats and candles as well as actual China to eat off of made this place feel like we owned the place! It is even better than the pictures!

Perfect Hideaway for Newlyweds
We rented this cottage as a wedding present for newlyweds who were coming into town for a visit. They loved the location, next to nature; the little touches that made the cottage memorable; and the ease checking in and checking out. It is nicely appointed and perfect for a special weekend. Lisa was super to work with in helping arrange this for our friends. Will definitely stay again!

The Little Green House
This past weekend was a reunion of four friends who had not seen one another in forty years. Linda did everything to make our weekend the best. We left feeling that we had a new friend. The house has a homey, warm feeling that we all enjoyed so much that we stayed there the entire time. There is a wonderful front porch to sit and rock. I grew up in Huntsville, and it offers anything you would need to entertain and excite, including the Space Museum and Botannical Gardens. You will love the Little Green House.

Nice, clean, functional space in a pretty neighborhood.
This is a well equipped, lovely cottage in a beautiful part of Huntsville. I would recommend it for a small family visiting the area. It was very clean and suited our needs very nicely. I would recommend that the mattress/bed in the "third" bedroom be replaced, the bed is a metal frame and extremely noisy when you move around and the mattress is not supportive at all. The other two bedroom sets are fine. Our favorite part of the house was the screened in front porch, great place to relax and hang out.

Cozy Cottage close to Huntsville
Monte Sano cottage was a relaxing home away from home for our weekend in Huntsville. The master bed is extremely comfortable, nice updated kitchen, wifi in the house and close to Huntsville's attractions. We really enjoyed the Space & Rocket Center, Burritt on the Mountain (house, cabins, and mini-farm) and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Old Heidelberg in town. Lisa was extremely friendly and helpful. Beautiful and welcoming!
This historic home is beautifully appointed with a large, treed side yard (our puppy loved it). The master bed was ridiculously comfortable! And the kitchen was large. Everything was decorated so well and we felt right at home. It was conveniently close to anything you might want in the area, but still had a secluded feeling. Lisa was helpful and flexible. We loved meeting her! If you're coming to Huntsville, stay here!

WOW! Was a wonderful Garden Bungalow! Just like Grandma's house!
Thank you so much Lisa and Fred, we were so comfortable in the little Green Bungalow it was Perfect! Something about it made us feel like we were back at Granny's house and to the point we baked Chocolate Chip cookies! The children loved the huge yard and the back deck. Again, thank you so much for your Hospitality and we will DEFINITELY book again when our Travels bring us back to the Rocket City!

Excellent!
The Little Green Cottage was the most comfortable peaceful pleasant experience. It was beautifully appointed, roomy, and gracious. It had the warmth of another peaceful era with the modern amenities that I look for in a rental. Kitchen was well equipped and the beds were sumptuous and luxurious. From the enclosed screen front porch to the large deck off the back, we enjoyed every square inch. Shopping and restaurants were in close proximity. The location was quiet and serene. I would definitely stay here again and look forward to it!
