"We were looking for rental property at Roatan and almost booked one... And we are so happy we didn't and ended up Rusty Breezes in Utila. We wanted property that's close to the beach but also wanted to have an option of the pool to relax, quiet and piecefull, but still not too far form "civilization"... This house has great location, off main grid, but not too remote, accessible by main road in beautiful quite neighbourhood, right across the palm park and bay with small sandy beach where you can watch beautiful sunrise. You can snorkel in the bay and see nice coral and marine life. The house is more beautiful than on the pictures, bedrooms are bright and big leading to first floor deck with pool and screened siting area. On the street side of the house is nice kitchen with all modern appliances and TV room leading to another deck overlooking garden with the view of the bay and park. Second floor has. accessible wrap around deck where you can watch beautiful sunsets. From the moment we booked it, the host (Ann) was in contact with us, she helped us with chartered flight from Roatan, many great recommendations from restaurants, snorkelling spots to rentals. The manager of the property (Lijia) was great too, she waited for us at the airport, was in touch during the stay and helped us with fishing trip and other recommendations.This is one of our favourite properties we rented. We really enjoyed the stay and loved the place. Worth every penny. We love Utila!"

"Being a little higher in elevation, open windows allowed the breezes to cool us at night. Screens on all windows were great! We loved exploring the neighborhood. Friendly and knowledgeable manager made sure we had all we needed. One glitch - on arrival my phone could not find any wifi, thus my GPS could not work, and I could not connect to the site telling the location of the house. I also couldn't remember if the manager was meeting us at the ferry or the house... We had offered to walk to the property, but it was actually much further than it looked on maps (we are both way past 70), so owners should have told us to take a pedi-cab. "

"We had the best stay at Tony and Jo’s Black Coral beach house over the holidays. They were easy to contact and quick to respond both before and during our trip. They stocked our kitchen before arrival with a list of items we selected, they had local currency for us to purchase, and even met us at the ferry dock with a golf cart we rented to help transport our luggage and show us to the property! These super hosts are immensely kind and immediately felt like family. The property is lovely, on a beautiful cove with everything you need for a week’s stay. The appliances are new, the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, a toaster, blender and a water dispenser. The linens and towels are very nice and the bathroom had all of the necessities. Water pressure was fantastic and the water was perfectly hot! We had an issue with a toilet that was fixed immediately. If I could add anything to the property it would be a washer, a line to dry clothes and dive gear and a living room (this property has two beds, a bath and a large eat in kitchen only but a nice picnic table outside). Some outdoor chairs or a hammock would be amazing too! Not complaining though because we had a great time. When we left, both Tony and Jo even met us at the ferry dock to say goodbye, exchange hugs and share some coffee. When we return to Utila, we will definitely stay with them again! "

"Our stay at the 'Striking Beach Home' exceeded our expectations in every way. Cheri provided helpful guidance to help us make the most of our time in Utilia. The property, located a peaceful 15-minute golf cart ride from town, offered a serene and secure retreat. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a host who showed us around. The home itself was not only beautiful and exceptionally clean but also very comfortable. Mornings were a delight, sipping coffee on the deck while watching the waves. We had no issues with utilities; the house was well-stocked with 10 gallons of purified water which lasted us the entire week. The kitchen held all the supplies needed to cook and have meals at the house. Everything was in perfect working order, including the TV with various entertainment applications that could be accessed with personal subscriptions. The entire living area and both bedrooms had stunning water views. I cannot overstate the kindness shown by Cheri and Derick, and many of the lovely people of Utilia. Our magical time on the island was unforgettable, and we eagerly look forward to our next stay at this wonderful property!"
