« This was our third time staying here since January of this year to attend volleyball tournaments at Spooky Nook. It was exactly what we needed. Three athletes and the moms. Much better than staying in a hotel. Space to spread out, a full kitchen to prepare meals to have instead of eating out the whole weekend, definitely more economical to split with three families than individually each staying at hotels for multiple nights. Host was easy to get a hold of and very responsive. »

« We rented the right half of house. Property was clean and right on the lake with hiking trails and boat launch just around each corner. Would definitely stay here again. Only downfall is nearby train goes through often and location is about 30 minutes from shopping and restaurants. Parking at house is only for one small car, others must park in a lot about two houses down the road. »

We had room for the 5 children to roam on the playground or in the playroom with the pool table and/or adult time too in the private hot tub setting and/or building a nice fire in the firepit. This quaint home has what you need to keep everybody busy doing something. We also had fun playing board games together. Nice accommodations and close to Sight and Sound Theatre. »

« We decided to rent this place as a surprise get away for husbands bday, house nicely restored, wood fllors charming but they do creek and in some places are missing, bed comfy, kitchen well appointed, towels soft, couch is ok, TV’s are good, easy door access. Hosts fast responders. We were initially intimidated by the neighborhood, worried about car safety was reassured by hosts it is safe. Opted to use close by parking garage which was convenient. It was really loud friday nite lots of sorrding...
