Fully equipped Bunkhouse, located 5 miles north of Hawkins, TX, with natural wood floors and barn doors, in the woods of Music Springs - The most peaceful place in East Texas, where the touch of God runs through the woods.

The Bunkhouse at Music Springs is located in a private section of Music Springs, with easy access to nearby attractions. Perfect view of the setting sun over the tops of the pines of Music Springs will take your breath away.
The Bunkhouse hosts a newly renovated 1 bedroom, 1 bath space, with full kitchen.
Queen size bed in bedroom, extra large couch and cot in living room allow sleeping quarters for up to 4 guests if some are children.
Enjoy your own outdoor fire pit and grill inside Trever Park, exclusively provided for Bunkhouse guests.

Great place
If you like seclusion this place is amazing. So peaceful and full of nature. The Bunkhouse was perfect for us,it came with everything you could possibly need.The hosts were very sweet and accomidating. We will stay here again and you should too. Also feeding Rosie and Fester the two donkies was such fun.

always enjoy our stay.
My wife and I have stayed here 3 times and we have always enjoyed our stay. We love sitting by the fire pit and enjoying the night sky. there is a common area to enjoy games and family. The owners Vicky and Mike have always been great. We will be back.

Perfect weekend get away!
The Bunkhouse at Music Springs is a hidden East Texas gem. So quiet and peaceful. It was fully furnished and had everything I could possibly need. I enjoyed reading and relaxing in the fire pit clearing area just outside the Bunkhouse. The hosts communicated well by text and checked to see if I needed anything. This was a great place to recharge and get away from Dallas for a few days! Would definitely return.

The cabin was clean and ready upon arrival. There were fun activities provided on the property. There is a hiking trail to get out for some fresh air. The fire pit was nice for a nightly fire with family. We will stay here again when in the Holly Lake Ranch/Music Springs Area.

Good Weekend Get Away
We loved the remoteness of the property and really enjoyed our time there. We were hoping to use the fire ring outside, but the rain wouldn't stay away. It is a great way to get out of the city for a few days. Would stay here again.

The Bunkhouse
The owners were quick with communication during my stay at The Bunkhouse. The property reminds me of my home town where my family reside amongst each other. The only thing I could have wished for is horses as I’m an avid rider. We enjoyed the morning and night view of the cattle and the friendly donkey who allowed us to rub his fur. With the hot summer heat beating down the cabin offered a true feel of home for my wild and free soul. This was worth the travel for my birthday adventure with my sisters.

The Bunkhouse
We rented the Bunkhouse for 2 nights. The owner, Vicki, was very nice and easy to work with; however, the pictures listed are very deceiving as the house is very unkept. The doors were dirty, the oven was dirty, the fridge was dirty, the coffee maker was dirty and cracked, there was dirt and grime between the appliances that looked like it had never been cleaned. The roof needed repairs and both doors had screen doors missing. Out of the 5 chairs outside at the outdoor campfire, only 2 were useable. The biggest issue we had was the bathroom. From the pictures you cannot tell how wide it is. There is a 14 inch clearance between the sink cabinet an the door. This means that no matter how small of a person you are, you have to go sideways to get to the toilet. If you were a large person you wouldn't even fit. In addition, there is not enough room to get dressed in the bathroom unless you were a small petite person or stood still and didn't move. We were so unhappy with the whole experience we left after one night, forgoing the money spent on the second night and went to a hotel.

Growing up working on ranches and farms in east texas this place brought it all back in one little location beautiful woodland surrounding areas quiet red dirt backroads. Felt at home from the moment we arrived, WILL RETURN!

We really enjoyed our stay at the bunkhouse! We did some exploring on the wooded property and hiking. We dozed by the fire pit under a full moon and gentle breezes . We had all our needs met in the rustic little cabin which fit the 4 of us comfortably. Thanks for a nice first visit to East Texas!

A Piney-Woods Paradise!!
My friends and I came here before the start of the semester to have a good time. The owners went above and BEYOND to make sure that we were comfortable, find the hiking trails, explore the property, and answer all our questions! Check out was a tad harsh and stressful, but overall a great time!
