"We loved this little oasis. The owners have done an amazing job of creating a special place that has everything you need. We were driving from Taupo to Napier and stopped for the night. They have lawn tennis, a full spa, swimming pool and an amazing restaurant not to be missed. Don’t bother going back into Napier for dinner. Stay here. They have an incredible wine selection and it’s been one of the highlights of the trip so far. "

"The Dome is a very unique property with a lot of character. This has been one of our stays in New Zealand. Very close to great restaurants, shopping and the beach parade which goes for miles of good walking. "

"A quaint little motel hidden amongst the burbs. Friendly, easy and helpful staff for check-in. Car park space in front of room. Property has a heated pool with slide, an indoor spa, gaming room etc.. The room itself was clean and had everything you need with nice amenities. Beds were comfy"

"I didn’t realise that they did your beds and cleaned. The coolest thing I found was they set the fire place up again to be used. It’s the little things that count. Highly recommend and we will be back again. "

"Interesting historic place. Pleasant place to relax and a great base for exploring the Hawke's Bay. Spent 3 nights there, service is good and the staff very helpful. Stayed in the "William Nelson Suite" and we could relax on the verandah or in the grounds with its historic trees."
