Restaurant was closed on Monday night so he booked us an excellent place in the pretty square where we had home cooked Indian food. Unexpected but delightful. Everything was clean and comfortable. "I arrived on a Monday but was disappointed to learn the restaurant was shut. Had to drive back into Düren for food. Germany doesn't seem to like Mondays! Hotel is good, if not slightly tired, but very clean and I slept well. My Monday evening disappointment was short lived following a very welcoming and wonderful breakfast. Very nice staff."

Had to call to get room key code it was not sent as promised. 90% of the time there is No employee to talk to about If your not from germany we were told not use the plug adapter because it would kill the power supply. Sign in bathroom states to throw your dirty towels on the floor. They will be replaced. But then room service did not come and clean or change towels that day and no one was there to talk to. Door handle came off. Coffee maker ran out of water and it was not...

"Above a bar in a small town, this place was in a good location. The room was clean and modern, although small. For a solo traveler this didn’t matter. Fresh rolls delivered to your door at 07:00 for breakfast in your room. The people in the bar helped me get in touch with the owner who is not on site. The phone number on Hotels.com was not correct. Parking was in an open area opposite the bar. It was a noisy location as traffic passed on two sides. "
