Wranglers Quarters RiverView Cabin - Sevier River Ranch - 1 King bed

The Wranglers Quarters at Sevier River Ranch & Cattle Company is a private studio style log cabin located on a quiet 280 acre cattle ranch in Hatch, between Bryce Canyon (25 mins) and Zion National Park (50 mins).

The air-conditioned Quarters are newly decorated with ranching antiques and consist of a main room with one California king bed, a kitchenette with sink, microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot with (coffee provided (no stove or cooking utensils) and a private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. It sleeps 2 people and is about the size of a large hotel room.

The private deck offers panoramic view across the ranch's pastures (where you may see cattle and horses during the summer, fall, and early winter), the Sevier River winding through the ranch, and the Hatch valley. A small, shared charcoal BBQ is available for your use outside (charcoal and lighter not provided).

High speed Internet service (free wifi) and a smart TV are available.

The Wranglers Quarters are located next to the Ranch Hands Bunkhouse (sleeps 2 in 1 Cal King bed), available for rent via a separate listing. Should you need even more space for your group, you may consider renting the main Ranch House which sleeps 6, The Barn which sleeps 3, Farriers Quarters which sleeps 4 and has a full kitchen, or The Tack Room similar to Farriers Quarters available via separate listing.

You will enjoy a good night rest in eery silence. If you're from the big city, it will take some getting used to!

The property is equipped with state-of-the-art electronic locks so that guests can check themselves in at any time, and late check-in is not a problem. Guests can roam freely on the ranch as well as fish (with a Utah fishing license, that can be purchased online) and swim in the Sevier River.

We are always available to answer any questions or give you tips for daytrips or restaurants. We speak English. Do not hesitate to reach out with any question, prior or during your trip.

Whether you are looking to explore the natural wonders of the area (the Quarters are located between 2 of the most visited National Parks in the country) or whether you're an animal lover (there are horses and cattle on the property from June thru December, many deer roam on the property, you can watch a large array of birds right from the deck, and we have the biggest animal shelter in the US only 45 minutes away),

The Wranglers Quarters are located on the Sevier River Ranch in Hatch, a small rural town of 200 people. Locals are very friendly and helpful, and you shouldn't hesitate to ask anyone for tips and recommendations.

The Sevier River Ranch is very private on the edge of town. It sits on 280+ acres and is traversed by the Sevier River and there is typically 100+ head of cattle on the property during the summer season

Note that there are no grocery stores in Hatch and you should plan to bring at least some food with you. The nearest grocery store is in Panguitch (15 mins) and you will find a Walmart Supercenter in Cedar City (1 hour). Kanab also has a supermarket. There are 2 convenience stores and a gas station in Hatch open from mid April through mid October.

There is no public transportation. You will need a car - a regular low-clearance sedan is sufficient to access the Quarters themselves.

We have a strict no-pet and no-smoking policy.

Star Gazing Delight
Our stay at the Wrangler's Quarters was everything we hoped it would be. The delightful little cabin was clean and bright, and the surrounding countryside was lovely. We sat on the front porch in the warmth of the setting sun, and marveled at the immensity of the starry sky at night. It was the perfect place to get away from the stresses of traveling and the chaotic frenzy of the crowded tourist attractions.

Great stay
This was a really great and secluded stay for our trip to Bryce Canyon. The view was amazing, and it was so quiet. The road is a little rough in the cooler months, but we had no trouble getting to the property in our Chevy Malibu rental in April. Also check out Dark Rangers Telescopes if your staying here.

A special place to stay near Zion and Bryce Canyons.
The Sevier River Ranch and cattle company was a great place to stay if you want to be close to awesome hiking. The cabin was very comfortable and clean. We stayed in the Wranglers Quarters cabin up on the hill. the overlook into the pastures was so nice, and we saw the cattle, deer, wild turkeys, and horses. We sat under the overhang on th porch as a light rain past overhead. We stayed for 4 nights and the bed was extremely comfy after long days of hiking. There are not a lot of eateries in Hatch, and the frig in the cabin is small, so plan accordingly. The only thing I would ask the host is to provide 2 additional bath towels, and another dish towel. over all the stay was wonderful and the host Gordon was great to talk to when we booked. Definitely a 5 star stay for us.

Great cabin retreat
Excellent place if you are.looking for a quiet winter getaway. My only complaint is a couple of extra towels would have been great, and a couple of hooks on the wall for coats. That said, I gave this property five stars. It was perfect really.

Amazing!
This was my second time staying here and I love it. I was afraid to give it such a great rating because I am scared it will book up and I will have a hard time getting it again. It is a great gem

Natural beauty
All around wonderful experience! Gordon was so helpful & accommodating. Beautiful views, calm, quiet & peaceful stay. Very clean. The sheets on the beds were soooo lovely as well too. Would for sure come and stay again if we find ourselves in the area. Thank You so much!

Wonderful place
This location was wonderful. We ended up getting snowed in, but the view was beautiful. owner had someone to come plow out in a reasonable amount of time. We ended up cooking burgers over the fire, and having a fire in the snow the next day. The property lists a grill, but this is a charcoal grill by one of the cabins, and a fire pit with a grate, so if you dont want to cook over a fire (highly recommend this, makes great flavor) bring some charcoal.

Clean, quiet respite
Lovely cabin just right size for 2. Very clean unit and bedding. Would have liked more than 2 towels since we were staying 2 nights and additional coffee pods but we did not email these requests but I am confident we would have been accommodated if we had asked. Views are great and nice, quiet setting. Will recommend to others.

Not enough time
I would have loved to stay longer. It was so peaceful at the Wrangler's Quarters. We got a lot of rain, so porch sitting was off the agenda, but it definitely looks like the thing to do in dry weather. Hopefully I'll get the chance when I visit again.

Property is as advertised. Quiet, nice location off Rte 89. 'Cabin' is small with a small bathroom. Coffee, toaster, microwave are appreciated. If all you want to do is have a place to sleep, this is good. Fairly close to Bryce NP. Driveway needs work; glad we have an allwheel drive vehicle.
