The ultimate group getaway awaits at this waterfront vacation rental, complete with dock access and a convenient boat slip. Idyllic East Horsehead Lake presents 185 acres of beautiful, clear water perfect for your favorite lake activities. Grill out for dinner, then gather around the firepit by the beach!

This single-level rental is set entirely on the ground floor. You’ll love the expansive common area, highlighted by a roomy full kitchen and a lake-view wall of windows. Four private bedrooms provide quiet spots to unwind, while two full bathrooms are each equipped with two stand-alone showers (four showers total). Extras include complimentary WiFi and a dedicated laundry room.

Enjoy a central setting between Minocqua, Rhinelander, and Tomahawk. Situated along the Rhinelander-area snowmobile trail, you’ll enjoy easy access to all Northwoods destinations. Outdoor activities from hunting to snowshoe baseball are all convenient to your location!

Great property, Vacasa does the booming and they are terrible
Property is amazing, plenty of room for 4 adults and 5 teenage boys for our father/son snowmobile trip. Only drawback - this property is managed by Vacasa, their communication is terrible. Took over a week to get answers, tried calling and sat on hold for 42 minutes before hanging up. Do yourself a favor - rent from the owner of the property, not through Vacasa

Ended up okay
The week started out rough. We had no hot water for almost 3 days. We noticed that there was minimal hot water or water pressure the evening of our arrival but only noticed it in the sink at first. The next morning when people decided to take showers there was absolutely no water pressure and the water was freezing cold in the shower. We called the management company right away and they sent some one out quickly but they were not able to fix it. The manager Brian apologized and said someone would come out the following day and they showed up late in the day so almost two full days with no showers at this point for 12 people. We were told that someone would compensate us for the issue but never heard back from anyone. Found out the water filter for the on demand water heater was completely clogged causing the issues. The house overall was clean except the shower curtains and toilets show signs of very hard water. Beds were comfortable and Plenty of seating while eating but not enough space on couches for 12 people to relax. The walk to the water was short and the lake was a perfect size. The kids tubed, fished and stayed busy. Once the water issue was resolved everyone had a good time it was just a very frustrating start. Hopefully they don’t have this issue again. Also, don’t use the option to text the property management company. They are very slow to respond best to call.

Deer Camp 2021
Very roomy and comfortable. 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths work very well. Kitchen area has lots of counter space. Heated floors and forced air heat worked well after a cold day in the woods. Enjoyed a few campfires a couple of days. Even had a couple of deer walk through camp to say hello. Jeff is very flexible and easy to work with. This was our second year and we will look at booking a 3rd if the price remains steady.

Nice clean large place had 8 adults and 2 small kids and had plenty of room. Weather was great most of the time. Rented pontoon boat and spent lot of time on lake. Lot of parking to bring up all your toys. Owner was great to work with.

Family Vacation
Our family of 7 adults and 3 children stayed for the week. There was plenty of room for our large group. The grandkids loved the beach. The view from the large windows was wonderful. We enjoyed several nights around the campfire. We had a lot of rain and had some flooding in one of the bedrooms. Jeff was very prompt in dealing with the issue. The property could use a dehumidifier. The living room furniture was not the most comfortable and could be updated. Overall it was a nice place to spend the week.

Huge space/everything new/great set up
We rented this space as a family of 5. I was blown away by the amount of space to utilize-everything is newly redone, with a great kitchen set-up, incredibly large living room, large bedrooms and a great open view of the lake from the windows. Used the grill and outdoor firepit and seating area for fun, the lake is big and great for kayaking, large sandy beach was appreciated by my daughters-thanks for renting it to us Jeff!

Our large family stayed for a week. The place was clean and open so there was room for everyone. The grandchildren enjoyed the sand beach and pretty good swimming. Jeff was very helpful and tended to our needs. A good place to enjoy the northern woods.

House was just as promised. We were glad that we brought an extra table and chairs for our large group. 4 showers in 2 bathrooms were nice. Easy walk to beach and we had several great lake days. Bring water shoes for the weeds near shore but not hard to swim over them to get to deeper water. Jeff was a great host. Only reason we didn't reup for next year is that is was booked already.

The layout was amazing and provided plenty of room for the 5 of us and our two large dogs. The large picture windows provided an incredible view of the lake. The only downfalls were the shower space and some rowdy neighbors several properties down that shot off several rounds of ammo throughout our stay. The owner and neighbors on the property were very pleasant and hospitable.

A great place in the Northwoods for a vacation. Rooms were clean and comfortable. It has a good view of the nearby lake. The lake was clear and has a small, private beach for the nearby properties. We would have loved to stay another week.

Jeff's property was perfect for our 6 adults, 2 children stay. He was very quick to answer our questions and the check in process was easy! The house itself was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with all necessities for cooking our meals. A Northwoods trip to remember
The owner of this property Jeff and his friend Mike were wonderful and so accommodating and went above and beyond to make our trip as good as it can be. Can’t say enough good things about the house & the owner! We loved our stay and hope to make it a yearly event with our friends!

It was a huge open space which was what appealed to us. I have MS and I use a scooter full time. It also had enough room for me to bring my lift chair along. The bathrooms were large enough and my whole family enjoyed the space. Other than cool weather we had a good time. I would highly recommend this place.

Everything we needed
The space is very open. Plenty of room for our two families (4 adults, 4 kids). Excellent sandy beach area to play and shallow water. We rented a boat and had easy access on the pier. There was a gas and charcoal grill which was nice. Owner extremely responsive with communication. Neighbor was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay!

Location is nice - close to Minocqua, Rhinelander and Tomahawk. HUGE space - more than enough room for 6 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs. Would stay there again.
