« We booked this rental because we had a few family friends coming to town for a guys fishing trip. The setup of the house is great. Plenty of beds and plenty of space. That’s really the only positive. The cleanliness of the house could use some major improvement. I spent 2-3 hours cleaning the night before our guests arrived. « The house was absolutely fabulous!! Even bigger than we expected thought from the pics and descriptions!!!! The deck was huge!!! Absolutely wonderful!! Only issue was the train that went thru at all hours literally feet away from the house. Other than that we loved it there!!! »

« We were in town for a funeral and stayed at this tiny home as an experiment. It was a good experience with the host and the home. I highly recommend if you find yourself near Franklinton. There were farm fresh eggs in the kitchen and everything you could want for an evening stay. It can be hit or miss on short term house rentals, this was a home run. »

« My 11 yr old granddaughter saw this listing and begged to stay “at the castle house”. The “castle” is a unique, one of a kind 3 story house, at the end of a trail through the woods. Please be aware that the dirt road and narrow trail to the house might not be suited for small cars. (We have a full sized truck.) « Went to celebrate a family members milestone birthday. Plenty of room for all of us and the pier was terrific. A/C worked great which was a huge plus in sweltering heat. No hot water first day but owner was quick to respond and it was back up and running on day 2. There were tvs in most of the rooms but couldn't find remote controls. Lots of restaurants and groceries nearby. Very close to train tracks so bring earplugs. »
