Beautiful property IF it had been ready for us.
We came to property around 7:30 pm so well after check in. We entered through the garage, the ONLY way allowed to enter, and came into the laundry room. There were dirty clothes and laundry everywhere including under garments, continued into the house and still laundry everywhere, dirty Kleenex, used hair brush on the kitchen counter, dirty counter tops, dead bugs, trash on the bathroom
counters, no beds where made, a complete disaster. We were going to stay at this particular location due to the proximity to the house of the wedding for a family member which was to take place the next day. Needless to say we didn’t stay at the property which was a complete disappointment, instead we checked into a hotel of which due to our number of people we had to get two hotel rooms for two nights and wasn’t near as close to the wedding. I had a bad feeling from the get go with the lack of communication and with the property actually being serviced through Evolve then having to change date and increase the price due to COVID. With all that said it’s still a beautiful property in a nice rural neighborhood. Keep in mind that the property owner lives on property but just a different entrance; if I had read the fine print earlier on I wouldn’t have rented it in the first place, we like our privacy. We have been reimbursed from Evolve for the majority but I don’t believe we’ve been reimbursed the additional fees by VRBO.
