"Friendly staff but overall an aging building. Elevator is stupid slow. Workout room is a joke with some equipment that must be 30 years old. Nice outdoor hot tub. Room was fine, but could use with new curtains/shades, especially if you face the mountain as they keep a bright light on for some reason. Can't beat the location, but like all things RCR they really could use to invest in maintenance and upkeep a bit more."

"For an older motel it is very solid building. The rooms are updated, not fancy, but they are certainly not run down for the age. Good bed. Everything was clean and working order. Worth the $100/night savings for the drive from the Hwy Hotels to downtown Golden."

"We loved the location and all of the amenities in the home. It was great to have our own garage and hot tub. It was easy to ski to the lift and get back to the place at the end of a ski day. We’d come again!"
