Central to Belfast city centre easy walking distance to most bars, restaurants etc, with the excellent cathedral district for pubs, nightlife etc is either a 15 min walk or a short taxi journey

Pros: beautiful room, lovely shower water pressure, front desk lady who checked me in (I believe Polish?) was very kind, the hotel itself is beautiful and situated in a nice neighbourhood Cons: 20 minute walk uphill from Holywood/train station, or 12 minute walk from nearest bus stop - so recommended if you have a car. The sound proofing is not great, could hear children running around all day/into the evening and then could hear the next door over showering and the man singing in the shower. Not great. The rest of the staff/owners leave much to be desired. I came in one evening and a woman who I assume at least works at the hotel if not owns it saw me come in and grab my room key from the front desk and just stared at me as she walked to the staff door, didn’t say hello or inquire about anything. Pretty poor customer service for a hotel. Also unsure how this is a 5 star hotel - nothing is offered beyond room and bathroom. No other known amenities, apparently not even house keeping. Stayed 2 nights, no one came in to clean or replace anything which was fine but a little surprising as nothing was mentioned. No other services or amenities were mentioned so again, it was fine but not 5 star at all. Overall probably wouldn’t stay again since it didn’t offer much for the price and is way too far out of the city especially not having a car.

We loved our stay at Regency House. Every singe detail was thought out and taken care of. The furnishings were amazing and the staff was incredibly attentive. We felt like we had a slice of luxury in Belfast. I would definitely go back!
