"The hotel is a great place to stay, clean and has the basics but VERY noisy and bright at night, even over my noise machine I travel with. If that doesn’t bother Parking is tight but they do have a small garage. Everyone was very nice, they do not offer room cleaning during stay so be prepared for that, nice central location and walkable to restaurants and bars. "

"Conveniently located The Sofia Hotel was a great choice to stay while visiting San Diego. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Parking is available behind the hotel building, We paid 40.00 USD per day. No need to pay extra for vallet parking as the parking lot is a few steps away from main entrance. If you don't want to drive around, there is easy access to public transportation Public transportation and many dining options within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again."

"Had a wonderful stay here with my partner, the hotel looks brand new, They had just opened up about a month ago, the front desk guys who were checking us in were nice and even helped us with our luggage to our room. My partner especially loved having fresh starbucks coffee on the second floor served 24/7. I will be choosing this hotel if im ever back in san diego"

"Lobby was nice, furniture comfortable. Room entrances were outdoors but within a courtyard. Small bathrooms. Room furniture has some wear and tear but bed was comfortable. Restaurant view was nice. Food and service were just ok. "
