Bella Vida- Accommodations fit for a star!

The beautiful Bella Vida beach home was home to HGTV star, Ty Pennington, during the filming of the 2022 Season of Battle On The Beach filmed in Surfside, Tx!

The home is a short 2 minute walk from the Pedestrian Beach. This newer built (2021) home is in the family friendly pedestrian only beach area. The owners have converted this beach HOUSE into a cozy beach HOME. Outside you can relax on either of the 2 balconies that both offer a scenic view of the beach. Bella Vida also has a ground level patio complete with a sitting area, swing, propane grill, fire pit, and an outdoor shower. A wagon, beach chairs, and beach toys are provided.

With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, this well equipped retreat offers all the conveniences of home. The home is also equipped with Hi-Speed internet and all TV's are Smart. The home has a variety of board games, dominoes and cards for the days you want to stay inside. House has a whole house water filtration system and a RO filter in the kitchen. All linens, even beach towels, are provided.

Whether you are planning a family gathering or a fishing trip, this is the perfect location close to all the Surfside amenities. You will be only minutes from the half-mile long jetty that is perfect for fishing or just walking. The newly renovated Jetty Park has a playground, splash pad and nature trails. If you need to do some shopping you are only 15 minutes from major shopping areas, fine dining restaurants and H-E-B.

We spent a wonderful Thanksgiving at this house. The kitchen has plenty of dishes and nice cookware. The house feels like a home. The beds are comfortable as well. There is also plenty of seating inside and out. .

Wonderful all-around!
This property was beautifully updated and stylishly decorated to a tee, to create a fun, comfortable beach atmosphere that made our family feel both pampered and at home at the same time. All the amenities were fantastic. The kitchen was well-equipped with even more than the essentials we hoped to find. Plenty of towels for home and beach as well. We loved the personal touches (don't want to spoil all the surprises!) It's just a few minutes walk to the beach, and although it isn't beachfront, the upstairs wraparound balcony with lounge chairs gives you a nice view of the water. Can't say enough good things about our experience and stay! We even added an extra day to our stay because we just weren't ready to leave. We consider this a must-return to property!

This is the cutest house. The ambiance is beach feel! It was clean, well equipped, comfy beds, and great patio furniture. We stayed here just after the hurricane. We had great contact with the host. We would stay here again!

Bad time for a visit
We visited this location during a flood. The beds weren't made, but the linen was clean. The tap water smelled awful, not sure if it was because of the flood. The A/C was not working when we arrived, but they did have someone out to fix it rather quickly. I notified the manager that one of the toilet seats was broken when we arrived, to later be told that we were not going to be charged for the repair since we missed out on one night of the stay due to the storm. The area is nice, just don't visit during a flood.

Great house at subside beach, highly recommended
We spent a delightful three nights at this charming beach house, where we were able to bask in the refreshing sea breeze, soft sand, and invigorating ocean waves. The house was equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need, allowing us to simply arrive, unwind, and make the most of our stay. The only downside was the unpleasant odor of the water, but it didn't mar our overall experience. I will return soon. Thank you

We stayed 2 nights, February 28 and 29th and had a wonderful and relaxing time! This beautifully decorated beach house has everything you could possibly need and is super clean and comfortable. The weather was on the cool side but very enjoyable to walk down the beach and check out the area. Interesting to watch the tugboats maneuver large ships through the canal. When the weather warms up we plan on coming back to enjoy the pedestrian beach. We were able to visit Freeport Historical Museum and get some insight on the development of the local area around the Brazos river. Worth the visit. There is much to do and many fine eateries. It was a well rested time away from the normal routine.

Better than we could have asked for!
My husband, our daughter and I had the opportunity to stay at Bella Vida and it was even better than we expected. The house is absolutely beautiful, if feels so cozy and welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Each room having its own bathroom was awesome, plenty of fluffy towels and the beds were so comfortable. We loved being able to BBQ on the bottom level while watching a movie on the TV. The seating on both decks of the house was a great place to watch the sunset. The pedestrian only beach area made for a great walk along the surf and lots of room for fishing off the jetty We can't wait to go back!

This is exactly what we hoped for with a few little surprises. The house was well decorated and most importantly clean! I love all the beach decor. The bottom patio was the perfect spot to play darts and cornhole. Having the golf cart led us to a pedestrian only beach, which was the surprise. I am not a fan of the cars driving the beach. Here you could have a peaceful walk or set up for the day to watch the waves and surfers- not a bunch of rowdy trucks draped in their flags of choice. Neighborhood is friendly and quiet. Just a great weekend away. We will be back!

We just wanted a quick, relaxing getaway and we found it at Bella Vida! This cute 3BR/3BA house met our every need. The house was very clean, was adorably decorated and was well equipped. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the kitchen had all that we needed! I loved its convenient location and the view of both the beach and the channel from 2 balconies. We enjoyed seeing the huge ships come into the channel, while listening to the sound of the ocean waves. Check in was easy and the property manager was very responsive. We will definitely be back for a longer stay!

Amazing stay on the beach!
Bella Vida is a beautifully outfitted, spacious beach house that immediately puts you into a relaxing mood the moment you step in. You will want for nothing here -- full kitchen, reliable WIFI, laundry, games, and much much more. The house has two balconies which offer great views of the surroundings, as well as a downstairs area with a swing and lounging area. Staying here you are a stone's throw from the pedestrian beach where you can go shell hunting and watch surfers catch the impressive waves in the distance. There is also a pier you can fish off of or just take a relaxing stroll as the sun sets (or rises!). Another unexpected attraction is watching the tug boats bring in giant vessels into the harbor which will delight adults and children alike. There are multiple stores and restaurants in the area which will allow you to pick whether you want to cook or go out for a yummy meal. For the most part the weather cooperated during our stay, but even on our rainy day, we had a great time lounging around, then driving down the coast to Galveston where we went to the aquarium and enjoyed all the island has to offer. The property manager was immediately responsive to the multiple questions we had and was always warm and welcoming. Compared to other accomodations of similar caliber, Bella Vida is a great value. I highly recommend this listing! You will not be disappointed.
