Situated in the community of Cleone, 2 miles north of the Fort Bragg city limits, in a country type setting, close to one of the best beaches and coastal accesses, the North Coast Retreat is the perfect get-away. The house is well appointed for families; friends and remote workers, as well as those who want to enjoy life, appreciating the beauty of nature and the coastal spirit. Just a short walk to the beach, where beautiful ocean views and sunsets are abundant. Bright skies, galaxies of stars, and the calming sound of the ocean are prevalent at this one acre property. Deer, birds and other wild life are thriving on the property for viewing enjoyment. Located close to MacKerricher State Park and the Haul Road paved trail, which provides a bike/walk path that takes you to Glass Beach, as well as the many galleries, shops, restaurants, and other attractions in the downtown area of Fort Bragg. Fort Bragg Gem!
What an amazing home! Not only was it absolutely spotless, but our hosts, Howard and Kelly, have thought of everything a guest might need and provided it! We cooked in the kitchen and had everything we needed. The house is bright and lovely. The backyard garden is beautiful and we enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the deer and the sunset. The home is within easy walking distance of the beach, and and less than five minutes from downtown Fort Bragg. We will definitely be staying here again! Highly recommend!

This house was the perfect spot for a family getaway to the coast. The proximity to the beach was perfect. The house was as shown on line (if not better), and the house was comfortable, well stocked and the yard was gorgeous. The hosts were very responsive. Excellent all around
This property, just north of the center of Fort Bragg, is perfect for 4-6 people. It's nicely and comfortably furnished and supplied with several areas to enjoy. We had meals in the fenced back yard, inside the house and also in the lovely sun room. Each morning we began with the short walk to the ocean where an easy path followed the coast. You are close to Big River kayaking, tide pooling just south and plenty of opportunities for hiking among the Redwoods. Our hosts Howard and Kelly kept in touch and all went smoothly. We would certainly recommend their place for a great experience.

Great home!
Very comfortable and well appointed home. Lots of room to relax and a beautiful solarium. The location is amazing just a few minutes from the beach and an amazing bike trail. We had such a fantastic time ! Will definitely rent this house again!

Location location location!
It was so close to everything we wanted to do. The house was beautiful and had plenty for my teens to do. Plenty of towels, beds were comfy. Living room was super cozy. Was the perfect relaxing getaway. Only thing that wasn’t perfect (and out of anyone’s control) was that walls are thin and you can hear everything going on anywhere in the house. But we sent the teens to the game room or sun room and all was well noise level wise. Great experience!

Fun in Fort Bragg
My mom and I (and our two fur babies) stayed here for a girl’s getaway weekend and had a great time! The location to the beach couldn’t be better and the house had beach chairs, bikes and tons of games! Kelly and Howard were great at responding to emails and texts and were wonderful to work with. The fenced backyard was an added bonus! We’ll be going back for sure!

Wonderful home with easy walk to beach!
We were fortunate to stay at North Coast Retreat for a whole month and everything we needed was right there. The home was very clean and spacious enough for our six family members. We ate breakfast every morning in the sunroom and often saw deer grazing. We walked to the beach (less than 10 min) every evening to watch the sunset. We made fires in the fire pit to roast hot dogs and make s' mores. We slept well each night in very comfortable beds. It was indeed a retreat from the cares of the world for us all!

Perfect location and wonderful hosts.
This property is a perfect spot to get away and enjoy the sounds of the ocean. Just a short walk to the coast. In the morning we spotted several deer grazing the back yard and in the afternoons and in the evenings we enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and butterflies in the back garden area. Plenty of seating and room for entertaining family for conversations. The hosts were very attentive and accommodating to our group. I would rate this property higher than a 5 if I could and would recommend to any group, family or couple for a quite getaway. When we return to this area in future we will definitely be looking to book again.

This property is a well appointed renovation. The kitchen doesn’t get any better! Extremely well equipped with sharp knives, a new sponge, and all the utensils you would ever need. Plus there were plenty of books and toys to keep the grandkids thoroughly occupied. Our dog enjoyed the fenced back yard. The property was a pleasure.

This property is just as described. Beautiful house with everything a visitor would need. A short five minute walk to the coast; a short five minute drive to the town. The sunroom is a wonderful spot to hang out. We all loved our stay.
