« Overall I'm glad we picked this hotel. The staff at the hotel were super nice! The floor in our room was a bit squeaky, but we barely heard anything from the floor above us. The pool was a very comfortable temperature and the sauna felt good. They had a heavy snow early on the day we checked in, so we were glad to have a lower level to park in! »

« I have zero complaints about our stay at Timber Ridge. The view really is “Million-dollar”! Only two real bedrooms but the double bed in the game room is comfortable. Deck is beautiful and the fire pit area is very nice. Well appointed kitchen and host was very helpful. Will return if I come back to the Boone area! »

« I absolutely loved my stay. The property manager was communicative and so kind and the place was exactly what I was looking for. I loved the outdoor spaces as much as the indoor. It was so nice to sit back on the porch to relax, read a book, and listen to the stream. I also enjoyed the proximity to town and some of the sites I wanted to explore. Definitely will plan to be back someday! »

« This was a wonderful place to stay during our vacation. The cabin was very comfortable and we especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces around the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked so cooking was easy. Great, location, too! The cabin is in a quiet, rural setting and it was an easy drive to nearby attractions, as well. We would return in a heartbeat! »

« We had such an awesome week! It was everything we hoped it would be! The cabin is a good 8-10 minute drive from the road (the first gate) to the 2nd gate so take that time into consideration when venturing out because GPS doesn't factor it in. Our kids had a ball catching (and releasing) trout, creek walking, and just being lazy in the cabin. We also saw a family of wild turkey on the drive down from the house. Highly recommend and hope to enjoy this cabin again some time. »

« Beautiful location and off the beaten path. Take whatever you want to eat for the stay, cabin has well stocked kitchen. Fishing was so so for the first few days, then it was stocked the last day which improved the fishing. We were catch and released so there should be some for the next guy. Would go back »

« You can definitely feel the love that went into this space. Lisa and Stephen built an amazing treehouse, and the whole property is very special. It's very unique and well crafted, with a lovely view of the mountains through the trees. It's rustic yet also very comfortable and cozy. The clawfoot tub and fire stove make it especially relaxing. »

« Really loved Banner Elk and the surrounding area. The cabin was perfect for us. The firepit area and back porch were our favorite spots to hang with weather in the low 70's everyday. Hiked the Boone Fork Trail (5 miles) with our dog and it was the best hike I have ever taken with rivers, mountains and all types of things to look at. The cabin is really fun as well. Everything works and was clean. We had a great week! »

« Cabin is beautiful, as is the acerage surrounding the cabin. The kitchen is roomy with a table large enough to accommodate at least 10 guests. The kitchen is also well accommodated with everything you need to cook for a large group of people. Many hours were spent on the front poorch and the screened porch which are both charming and relaxing areas. Tammy was available by phone when we had questions. Our family throughly enjoyed our time spent at the cabin. We highly recommend this property. »

A wonderful discovery
"This is one of the most charming inns! Yes, it's a bit old and the room a little small, but it's clean and super bright. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept like babies being able to open the windows instead of having to endure the noise of the air conditioner like in all places. The front desk staff was very nice and called within a few hours of our arrival to make sure we liked our room and were comfortable. We will absolutely return here! We also fell in love with this charming town, which we didn't know at all! It's pleasant to walk around and there are many restaurants and small shops. We were on our motorcycles and the hotel was within walking distance of everything. We highly recommend it to anyone!"
