« Butternut Lake is a little slice of heaven. The house was clean, equipped, and plenty of space for our family. All my questions were quickly answered before or during the stay. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing and swimming daily. Great hiking and biking were also close by. We appreciated the fish cleaning station so we could enjoy our catch for dinner. Great quiet get away to unplug and enjoy the Northwoods. »

« What a delight! Had a good balance of creature comforts(hear/shelter/hot tub/sauna/showers) and true camping(detached outhouse/no running water). 2 things I’d suggest is limiting the amount of scent on the linens and having a small guide to local hiking/store options. We had a blast! »

« We had a wonderful time at this property. Ski Brule was a short 20 minute drive. The listing was extremely accurate. The kitchen had everything you needed to make various different meals. Plenty of room for 2 families with kids. Even tried a couple of tip ups and some ice skating. Would definitely stay again! »
