Fantastic Stay
Three adults and two kids thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The rooms were nice and clean, and the kitchen was equipped with essentials. The cottage served as a nice home base while exploring Co. Clare. Phyllis is an outstanding host. She was there to greet us on arrival, and made sure we were well taken care of. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in the cottage again.

Comfortable place to stay
We recently stayed at the carriage house for three nights. Very nice place. It was exactly how it was listed. The location was close to town and the restaurants and pubs. We walked there, and drove a little further for a grocery store. The host was very accommodating, and even responded quickly to my questions before we arrived. Since it was walkable distance to town the road was busy at times but sidewalks available. A nice garden area with a patio was available. Enjoy.

Cosy barn conversion, very comfortable, lovely garden space. Very short walk to town centre (interesting shops, river falls, supermarket), and quick drive to nearby beach town, and cliffs of Moher. Situated just off a busy road; hold on tightly to small children when walking into town.

Lovely cottage
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cozy, warm and comfortable coach house, which is located a convenient short walk from pubs, shops and cafes. The cottage is close to a main road, but we didn't find this very noisy or disturbing. Phyllis was a welcoming and helpful host the whole way through our stay.

Well equipped and well sited - ideal base for exploring the Burren and delightful market town of Ennistymon. Great food, bars, music, flora, geology... if you're searching for walks and natural history this is a pretty good start. Our host was friendly, welcoming, very nearby but completely non-intrusive. Would love to visit again.

Very nice for the most part
The coach house is adorable and suited our needs. My main concern is that the second floor had a faint odor, maybe from the farm next door. The windows don’t open much, so the upstairs was a bit stuffy. The garden area was lively. It it was in more of a main street than I realized so we could hear traffic, along with the birds. Host was very nice and the location was great for us.

The space was clean, warm, and felt like a home away from home. Their knowledge about Ennistymon and the Irish culture was a gift to my journey. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone look for a place to be welcome and experience Irish hospitality.

A most wonderful experience
My son and I spent a wonderful week at Sunnyside. This is a trip that had been postponed twice, and Phyllis could not have been more gracious and accommodating in rescheduling. The house is perfect, with two bedrooms, a very nice kitchen, and a lovely living room. We would spend the mornings walking the few minutes into town, having breakfast and a look-around. Then often a short and scenic drive to beautiful hikes such as the Burren and Cliffs of Moher . Then home for a nap and sitting by the wood burning stove while planning dinner. There are some lovely restaurants, good pubs, and grocery stores all within a few minutes walk from the house. I have to mention Phyllis’s two adorable dogs, and also her hen and rooster. They also contributed to making the place seem like a home for us. This was my third stay in County Clare, and certainly the nicest. Would love to return.

Lovely sit-out are in garden with hammock, table/chairs and barbeque. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Summer vacation for family of four
We had a wonderful 11 days in Ennistymon. Phyllis and Harris were great hosts. The location is perfect (if you have a car), a short 3km to the beach in Lahinch, and we could walk into town for the pubs and restaurants. Big supermarket also in town. We were self-catering, and everything we needed was in the house. The crockery was especially nice. Summarizing: the house is ideally cut for a family of four, from the size and number of the rooms to the kitchen and living room. Highly recommendable!
