"The dorm room was very comfortable clean and a good location can take a cheap Uber or cab into the city easily! However I was there for five nights and no one replaced my toilet paper or gave new towels or seemingly did any maintenance! Maybe you need to ask them for this but I would assume hotels in other parts of the world are the same where they come daily to maintain. I’m from the USA and a maid comes in everyday normally. Can’t beat the price and location but I had to steal a roll of TP...

"Halo Boutique Hotel is in a great location - the beautiful neighborhood of Santa Cruz and walking distance to all of the historic center attractions. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was also big and clean and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, there were a few little niggles that they should have worked out so that we didn't have to bother the lovely staff on duty. For example, we had a room with an enormous super king sized bed but with only two small/flat pillows....
