I liked the fire pit at the bay side for the guests. I liked the very personable staff. The room was very nice and clean. The fresh coffee in the gathering room was nice. The warm cinnamon donuts were okay.

perfect summer getaway

We just returned from a wonderful 4 days at the Shallows We had a wonderful view from our room of Green Bay. A bonfire at night and warm fresh cinnamon rolls for breakfast What else could you want? We already booked our room for next summer

We really enjoyed this resort. We love to go exploring during the day so it was a great home base to come back to at night to swim, relax and enjoy the views. Loved the additional amenities of shuffleboard, basketball, bikes and kayaks. The kids especially loved Charlie!

Charming lakefront property, well maintained. We could enjoy a water view from our balcony, and had delightful visits with other guests around the fire pit during the evenings. Two comfortable chairs in our room were appreciated, along with complimentary breakfast rolls and coffee in the morning. We will return to the Shalllows!

We love that this property is right on the water, it's also quiet. We didn't care for the morning breakfast of a cinnamon bun loaded with icing, since we are both diabetics, however it was nice that they offered something. Would have wished for more variety.

Nice clean and family orientated. If your looking to relax and enjoy the simplicity of it all, this is the place to stay. Conveniently located on the peninsula to reach attractions in town, (Egg Harbor), approximately 2 miles North, or other destinations on the peninsula.

Hotel is on the lake, beautiful property. Rooms were clean but no housekeeping during stay, which I dont mind,but instructions were left with where the dumpster was to empty our trash.

Awesome Fall weekend in paradise

I stayed here a long time ago and we tried it again. It was clean, great owners who you saw everyday and a beautiful Door County location. Peaceful, wonderful guests who obviously return year after year. We will join them and bring our friends. You may never leave the resort because it is so beautiful. Highly recommend staying here!

Lovely, quiet, "old-fashioned" resort with exceptional service and beautiful views! Room is smaller but clean. Owners are friendly. Lots of chairs outside with view of the water. The pool and hot tub are right by the rooms. It's such a great place to relax and so close to Door County attractions. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Nice place, smokers not welcome, had to go to the road to smoke, otherwise, nice place. Office didnt open until 9 and door lock broke. Locked out and didn't like us going to maim house.
