« The motel was perfect! Quiet, beautiful view of the lake and comfortable beds. The man who checked us in on our first night was warm and welcoming. The next morning, however, a woman rudely reprimanded me for accidentally and unknowingly dropping some crumbs in the main lodge. My apology was met with further rudeness. 5-stars otherwise. »

« The property was great ! Room to park 2 trucks and a trailer and 2 side by sides! House was super clean and enough room to spread out ! My son is celiac so we brought our own pans and such but the kitchen had all the necessities if we had needed them to cook! Bathroom had towels and toilet paper and soap too! Was just what we needed for a great vacation thank you! »

« This property is such a gem! We've stayed in many cabins similar to Carrie's before and this blew the others out of the water! Rustic but modern enough to where you felt at home. « My wife and I spent a long weekend in the UP with our son and daughter in law and we are so happy we found this location. It was great for us! The place is just like it looks in the pictures, so no surprises! It's on a dirt road but only about a quarter mile off the pavement. As a result, it is VERY quiet, since the only cars you'll see are for other residents. We were there 4 days and saw the same truck twice... that's it! One thing that is not shown in the pictures is the pool table. Nice...
