« Moonhouse is a basic but comfortable cottage for a couple for a short term stay. Although the decor is simple we had all of our basic needs catered for and the cottage was clean. Some milk left in the refrigerator would have been appreciated. A refurbishment of the weedy garden area outside the cottage and along the walkway to the entrance would greatly improve the overall appeal of this property. »

« My partner and I wanted to have two secluded days/nights to relax and restore after a very busy year and early Christmas. Drive was only 40min, and due to its location, it felt like we had travelled far out to the bush. There were kangaroos, an adorable wallaby, birdlife including kookaburras. It was during two stinking hot days and the air conditioner worked a treat. The rotaloo composting toilet took a moment to get used to… I kept looking for the flush button. We can’t fault it. « We went for a getaway with the family to do something different this year. The cottage is is nestled in a quiet, lovely block of land. It was neat, clean and really well maintained. The check-in/out process was a breeze. Instructions were really clear. All the basic amenities were available. The wife and teenagers enjoyed the spa. I will recommend this place for anyone who want to go and spend some time in the Dandenong Ranges. »
